Unicycle [ 29er / 36er would be the best for the whole
route]
Helmet

Snacks
Small Pump, patches, tire levers and basic multi-tool
Perhaps wear a bright shirt for visibility

Course condition: Mostly on paved cycle tracks, trails and bike lanes but there are also brief sections on downtown
streets with no bike lane. Be prepared to ride in a bit of traffic. We will make periodic stops to let people catch up.
Route is mostly flat with some steeper sections when riding towards the waterfront and back to Seattle Center.
Want to ride a shorter route? Turn around at the end of the Westlake Cycle track near 9th Ave N and head back
to Gas Works for a 5 mile round trip.

0.2 Left At first traffic light turn left onto 5th Ave N and ride on sidewalk (against traffic) 3.1

0.2 Left Turn slight left on path to ride to W Thomas Street Pedestrian and Bicycle Overpass 4.7
0.2 Straight Cross 9th Ave N to get on Westlake Cycle Track 6.4
0.4 Straight Continue onto Fremont Bridge past stairs to N 34th St. 8.1
0.3 Straight Turn slight right at Stone Way N to get back on Burke-Gilman Trail and ride back to Gas Works 8.5
