We come in to existence from 1st April, 2001 after
the merger of...

M/s. Kishan Auto Industries (Established In 1988)


M/s. Kishan Manufacturers (Established In 1991)

M/s. Kranti Industries (Established In 1994)

M/s. Kishan Engineering Works (Established In 1995)


And at present they stand as our Sister Concerns.

We started manufacturing of Connecting Rods in


the year 1988 in a small manner to produce 2000 pieces per
month and the positive response from the esteemed
customers who certified our quality to their satisfactory level
provoked us to increase our capacity. Therefore, in the year
1991 we increased our capacity to 4000 pieces per month, in
the year 1994 and 1995 we increased the capacity to 8000 and
12000 pieces per month respectively. And presently, we are
able to produce about 40,000 Nos. per month.

In the year 2001, due to continuous support of our


valued customers, strong suppliers and energetic work force
encouraged us to increase the capacity to manufacture
40,000 Nos. of Connecting Rod per month. Thus all small
workshops, brought together at a new place having land
admeasuring 22500 Sq. Meters and Kishan Auto parts
Limited is now one of the leading manufacturers of
Connecting Rod in India for domestic and overseas market.

manufacturing company. Production is the initial part of the
manufacturing a product. If we want to define in simple
words we can say it is a process of converting raw materials
into the finished goods.

Production means creation of utilities and it covers

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

An Idea, which drives the Life, in likewise manner


Connecting Rod plays a vital role as a link in Internal
Combustion Engine.

Connecting Rod is a very important component of


any internal combustion engine, because it connects piston
to the crankshaft. One end i.e. Small End of Con Rod is
connected to piston and other i.e. Big End connected to
crankshaft. Connecting Rod converts the reciprocating
motion into rotary motion. Many parts of the internal
combustion engine are likely to fail but one of the most
susceptible is the Connecting Rod. The Connecting Rod
transfers energy from the engine to the crankshaft and
ultimately to the final drives mechanisms. Thus, Connecting
Rod forms the heart of any engine. Since the conception of
the Connecting Rod business at KAL, we have concentrated
on precision and quality construction. Our design goal for
every Connecting Rod we make is to maximize the strength,
durability and high level of accuracy.

Connecting Rod is being used in almost every


engine of Cars, Trucks, Tractors, Jeeps, Oil Engines,
Compressor, Marine Engine, Earth Movers etc.

PRODUCTION PROCESS
It requires various operations a minimum 15 to
maximum 45 operations, right from drilling to finishing to
manufacture Connecting Rods for different models.

Some of the important steps of our manufacturing process


are as below.
1) Shot Blasting
2) S.E. Rough Drill & B.E. Rough Facing.
3) S.E. Rough Bore on Boring Machine & checked by Go &
Nogo plug gauges. It provides Reference for further
operations.
4) S.E. Width Rough & Rib Cutting operation
5) Rod Cutting- Roughing on Milling Machine & Final on
Lathe Machine.
6) Dowel Fitting or Serration.
7) C.R. Hole & B.E. Rough Bore.
8) Notch & Oil Hole drilling.
9) B.E. Bore Grinding Final Size & 100% Checked with
Micron Dial Bore Gauge.
10) Final Face & Chamfering on Lathe Machine.
11) S.E. Parent diameter with 100% Inspection.
12) Bush will be pressed with specified Interference fit.
13) Bush Boring.
14) Center Distance, Twist, Bend & Bore size are Checked on
3D CMM.

quality of our product right from incoming raw material
stage up to finished product. By using Forgings, Bushes,
Bolts, Nuts & Dowell Pins as a raw material, we are using

As TIME IS MONEY time keeping system

Here, company provides transportation


facility so that workers can reach the company in
time. It uses the muster system for time keeping. It
is to be noted that here, first prayer is done and then
all the workers go to their respective departments
supervisors take attendance of the workers. Each
departments has its own muster in which entry and
exit of each employee in the organization is noted i.e.
all the workers are given numbers along with
identity card which indicates their department.

In case of executives, they have to obtain


exit card if they go for any personal or official work
during the working period. Thus, there is a nice time
keeping system in this unit.
