Its a pleasure to write a letter of recommendation on behalf of Amy Engler for an

administrative position within your school. I worked with Amy over the course of several
months as my administrative intern at Hale Elementary School.

Amy impressed me right away with her ambition and excitement to get started with her
internship. Amy started attending our monthly site council meetings in January well before
her internship officially started. In addition, she attended the annual science fair to help her
get to know our students and community. Again, this was all driven by Amy!

During Amys week at Hale she had the opportunity to engage with students, families,
teachers, and district level staff. I was impressed with her confidence to jump in and lead a
meeting or work with a student. In addition, Amy had the opportunity to participate in two
teacher observations as well as attend Hales budget tie-out at the district level. Her calm
demeanor, patience, and communication skills will serve her well as an administrator.

This letter and her resume does not give Amy justice to the type of educator and person she
truly is. While she may not have any official administrative experience, I am confident to
say she will grow into an outstanding school administrator and a value add to your school
district.

I give Ms. Engler my highest recommendation for an administrative position within your
