energy mix is negligible

Renewable Energy Authority Of Libya

REAOL was founded to promote the development of

RE in Libya. A goal has been set by REAOL to reach
10% of the energy supply from renewable energy
resources by the year of 2020. To achieve the target
mentioned, several plans were decided as following:

This Plan Consists of the Following:-

Dernah wind farm 1st stage [60 MW]
Al-Maqrun wind farm [120 MW] 1st stage
Western region wind farm [250 MW]
Dernah wind farm 2nd stage [60 MW]
Al-Maqrun wind farm [120 MW] 2nd stage

venture with local and foreign investors to satisfy

Encourage and promote local & foreign investment
in this field.
