Mission and Vision Statement

We hope that the young aspiring librarians and educators we

provide for will be versatile, adaptable, and knowledgeable in
both public and academic library fields.

In order to help aspiring librarians acquire employment and find

their favored vocation in both public and school libraries, we
will ensure they can become effective users of information
management and technology skills, whilst teaching and
spreading the joy of reading to students, young and old alike.

GUIDELINES:
Consider the elements of an exemplary school library media program in light of readings and
discussions including current program standards
Develop a vision and mission and statements that incorporates your understanding of best
practice with your values and beliefs about a high quality library media program
The resulting document should appear professional and polished
