MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING
OPENING:

The meeting was called to order by 1st Deputy King Cobra SK Rey Berroya, who acted
as the Presiding Officer assisted by SK Sim Canonero who acted as the 1st Deputy King
Cobra, and SK Winston Chinkiat who acted as the 2nd Deputy King Cobra last February
12, 2015 at 7:30 PM

The meeting was held at Hole 19 Function Room of the Philippine Navy Golf Club for the
transaction of business for the month of February.

Opening prayer was led by SK Arnel Cantos who acted as the acting Chaplain. Singing
of the National Anthem followed.

Other officers present were RKC Voltaire Gazmin, 2nd Deputy King Cobra SK Amando
Melo Jr, SK Manny Idquival Treasurer, SK Richard Comia Secretary, SK Erich
Somera Sentinel.

ROLL OF CLASSES:

A total of Sixty-six (66) Sir Knights attended the meeting. Each Sir Knights attendance
was introduced stating their Mother Lodge and Class. Not all classes were represented.
The acting Secretary declared that there was a quorum. Attendance per class is as
follows:

READINGS OF THE MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING, SECRETARYS
COLLECTION AND TREASURERS FINANCIAL REPORTS:

The minutes of the Previous Meeting was read by SK Richard Comia.


Secretarys Financial & Treasurers Report for the month of February was read
by SK Manny Idquival.
The Minutes of the Previous Meeting was approved as read. Likewise the
Financial & Treasurers Report was also approved as read subject to usual audit.

COMMITTEE REPORTS:

1. SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE:

SK Manny Idquival was requesting the head of Scholarship Committee to


submit financial report in regards to the PUP scholars and Batangas.
SK Jun Melo reported that RKC was committed to support the computer
literacy program in San Jose Elementary School for the benefit of 233 pupils.
For information, GGOKCS was already donated eleven (11) computers.
SK Manny Idquival was looking into a sponsored donation of 100 computers
which then to applied by GLP for an exemption from BIR & BOC.

2. CHARTERING OF RED BELLIED SNAKE IN SYDNEY AUSTRALIA:

SK Jun Melo reiterated that the 11 candidate will fill up the 25 number of
Snake members, Chartering is on May 2, 2015 to be held in NAVY Golf Club.
Everybody is invited.

3. MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE:

SK Jomel Maranan discussed the following:


A. Only sixty seven (67) petition forms was already submitted which includes
all chapter. Some sponsors vouched more than two petitioners,
application forms not serialized and some petitioners is less than one
year as a Mason.
B. A total of 200 serialized application forms was already for distribution and
extended the last day of submission of forms on 28 Feb 2015.
C. CGS should be on current year 2015.
D. Only the SK who assigned as the Medical Head in V. Luna shall issue the
Medical Certificate and ECG of the aspiring applicant.

CONFERRAL PREPARATIONS:

SK Romy Abella informed the SKs the following:


A. A meeting will be set on 22 Feb 2015 with Sigma Class. Finalization of
the committees involved in the conferral will be discuss.
B. Upon registration, color coding ID will be implemented during the
conferral to avoid unregistered members.
C. Open - bidding for uniforms will be conducted to be used in conferral.
D. To submit financial report of abstract of expenses to the treasurer for the
budget preparation of the said event.

OTHER MATTERS:

Anti Hazing Law RA 8049


- status quo
Under Dispensation request of Pangasinan and Toronto, Canada
- Sk Jun Melo discussed that on the constitution the initial is at least 15
members to be granted dispensation. Reaching to 25 members a charter
will be issued. Pangasinan have minor changes and Toronto, Canada
only 3 members definitely cannot be granted dispensation.
Submission of Monthly Report of Different Chapter / including remittances of
dues, Listing of Officers different Chapter.

- Dahon Palay
- Banakon
- Only Agwason chapter is not yet submitting reports.
Status of Refund of conferral fee of the deferred / black ball candidates
- SK Manny Idquival reported that request of refunds since 2012 was on
going, only with issued receipts will be accepted. Reconciliation of other
funds is on process.

CLOSING:

There being no more business to transact, the ceremony of the Seven Toast
commenced. The meeting was closed 9:30pm peace and fellowship followed.
