I am applying for the NICU Internship Program (Job Number: 173914) as a graduating student. I will
graduate from the University Of South Florida College Of Nursing on August 5th, 2017.

During my clinical rotations, I have had the opportunity to work beside a RN at St. Josephs Womens
Hospital on the NICU floor during this past semester. I have achieved 100 hours of clinical experience at
St. Josephs Hospital in total.

My overall clinical experience provided me the opportunity to work in different settings such as medical-
surgical, oncology, post anesthesia care unit, endoscopy, psychiatric, intensive care unit, emergency
department, orthopedics, renal, cardiac/telemetry, community health, pediatrics, and womens health.
My experiences allowed me to learn a wide variety of nursing skills including prioritizing and organizing
patient care.

I am grateful for the opportunity to apply to such a rewarding internship program in the NICU
department at St. Josephs Womens Hospital. I believe that my work ethics, interpersonal skills, and
lifelong achievements make me a good candidate for this program. I look forward to becoming a team
member at St. Josephs Womens Hospital.
