Elliott Wave Corrections

Alternation within Corrective Waves

If correction begins with a Flat for wave A, expect a zigzag for wave B, and vice
versa
If a large correction begins with a simple zigzag for wave A, wave B will tend to
take up more time, turning into a more complex abc zigzag.

Alternation within Impulse Waves

Many corrections, but fourth waves in particular, often make their retracement
low/high near the end of the previous fourth wave of one lower degree.

ZigZag (5-3-5)
Wave A has 5 waves
Wave B has 3 waves
Wave C has 5 waves
Flats
Triangles
Combinations
The main purpose of combinations is to take up time (longer, drawn out
corrections)
The first pattern often achieves the price objective
The doubling or tripling occurs to achieve the time objective (make it to the next
major area)
An X wave can take the shape of ANY corrective pattern, but is most often a
Zigzag (very fast, straight-shot type of a move)
Three patterns (triple three) is the max, and triple threes are rare
Can never have more than one triangle, but triangle can be the ending pattern (Y
or Z) or the X wave
