[ ]Grammar point: introduce a grammar point to be used at some point in the day.
Ex:
Interrogative pronouns Who, whom, whose, what, which
Maybe easy, but when do you use "who" and when do you use "whom"
Who is a subject pronoun
Whom is an object pronoun
- Examples:
Whom is she calling?
Who are you?
-Everyone try using it to see if it is understood.
[ ]Word of the day: A new word each lesson to be used during the discussions.
Ex:
Cantankerous disagreeable to deal with; short-tempered, argumentative
Sentence: Always ready to argue, the old man was very cantankerous.
Origin: Likely from Middle English (1150~1500)
Topics: Each lesson will have three or more main topics to discuss. Each topic should
be discussed for around 20~30 minutes. (use a timer)
1.Aliens
2.Color
3. Dreaming
Wrapping-up: The last 5~10 minutes will be for questions that may have come up
during the discussion, but you didn't have a chance to ask.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
checksheet: I will provide everyone with the days lesson play and when you use the
gammar point or word of the day, check the box for it.
Homework: Because the lessons are only twice a month, a homework task might be
useful. We can discuss what you all would like to do for this. Maybe a dairy or a
short essay to write.
Notebook: During the lesson if you have questions or new vocabulary write them
down.
Example lesson schedule:
While talking, when you use the word of the day and something from the grammar
point please check it off on the checksheet
