Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist- RTI International Health 4 Life Project (USAID Funded)
(June 2017 onwards)

Major Duties and Responsibilities:


Manages project M&E activities at Regional Office and provides support to district teams
Ensures the implementation of standardized reporting, performance monitoring, and evaluation within
the office and among partners
Ensures collection and reporting on indicators at project implementation level required by USAID in
consultation with SIRA
Monitors progress toward achieving project goals against yearly targets and recommends possible
ways forward to reduce gaps identified in consultation and collaboration with Regional Team
Ensures successful implementation of the Project Performance Monitoring Plan (PMP)
Maintains database of project data on training and other inputs, beneficiaries and project outcomes.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Set up and make fully functional of MEAL approach to support in the decision making process.
Ensure the participation of earthquake affected communities and beneficiaries in the project
implementation through information sharing and timely respond on the community complaint &
feedback.
Ensure the implementation of minimum standards of core humanitarian standard in relief items
through establishing the accountability mechanism for quality of works.
Ensure to implement accountability mechanism i.e. complaint feedback mechanism-CFM. Manage &

the dissemination of the CFM to the beneficiaries through various means.
Support in planning, implementation and follow up of baseline/evaluation process like draft preparing
of ToR, workshops, review reports and findings of evaluation are put into action.
Play as a lead role to conduct baseline survey in deputed cluster office. Onsite coaching and
mentoring while baseline survey.
Coordination with external agencies including local government to conduct need assessment as and
when needed and take lead role in baseline survey.
Working to update log-frame, and prepare M&E (MEAL) Plan, Indicator Performance Tracking
Table-IPTT.

Monitoring Communication and Documentation Coordinator (MCDC) World Vision

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Strengthen monitoring and evaluation at programme progress, quality and impact level as well as
develop and implement monitoring guidelines and formats. Capacitate organization team member s
and partner staffs in monitoring tools and reporting through workshops and training.
Prepare annual plan of action, monthly, semi-annual, annual progress reports of Education, livelihood,
Maternal Child Health and Nutrition (MCHN), Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Child
Protection projects. Ensure the right information is collected to reflect the progress and status of the
programme.
Provide support to partner organization in project implementation, monitoring and documentation as
well as perform partners performance appraisal semi annually/annually and provide constructive
feedbacks for organizational development. Similarly prepare Memorandum of Agreement with NGO
partner and MoU with government partner and make sure they understand it.
Coordination with government stakeholders such as DDC, DEO, DHO, DAO, DLSO to align our
project with government interventions and for its accountability and sustainability.
Ensure that the project implementation is in right tracks towards its outputs and outcomes as well and
budget management. Prepare success stories, most significant change stories and case study to
illustrate the change and progress of the projects.
Facilitate to prepare a plan of action along with detail budget breakdown of multiple projects among
the team.

Research/studies and publication


Research on topic Exploration of Masculinities among Dalit Men and Boys in Dolakha District in
Nepal in the support of Save the Children Nepal.
Preparation of Impact assessment report of GX program for VSO Nepal and British Council
Prepared Report on Dalit Women and critical Areas of Concern as outlined by the Beijing Platform
for Action (BPFA) for women.
Assisted in the evaluation of the "Access to Justice of women" project of FEDO in 2010.

International Experience
1. South Asian Network Addressing Masculinities-SANAM, Fellowship Program Understanding
Masculinities: Culture, Politics and Social Change coordinated by Save the Children Sweden.
2. Participated in volunteer lead program called Global Xchange for six month which was funded by
Volunteer Service Overseas (VSO) and British council; three month in Kavre, Nepal and three
month in Brighton, UK where we performed different services in community and awareness
programme on different global issues. Participated in Asian Youth Festival Consciousness of
oneness at Kolkata, India from 21st to 27th January 2012.
3. Participated in South Asian Social Forum (SASF) in Dhaka, Bangladesh from 18-22 November,
2011 on a theme of "Democracy for Social Transformation in South Asia: Participation, Equity,
Justice and Peace".
