Working Hours 6.5 Add the fo Ilowing paragraph at the end of sub-clause:

"If as a resu It of carrying out the Works on holidays or locally

recognized days of rest or at night under circumstances (b) and (c)
hereinabove, the Employer incurs additional supervision cost of the
Employer's Representative I Assistant to Employer's Representative,
such cost shall, after due consultation by the Employer and the
Contractor, be determined by the Employer's Representative and shall
be recovered from the Contractor by the Employer for payment to the
Employer's Representat ive / Assistant to Employer's Representative,
from amounts due or to become due to the Contractor.

Th e Contract or shall pay overtime paym ent to th e Employe r's

Repre sentative's Support Staff/ Personnel and Staff of Assistant
to Employer's Representative who were requi red by th e Co ntractor
to perform th eir respective work ass ignm ent bey ond the normal
working hour."

Facilities for 6.6 The text of first paragraph is deleted and substituted with the fo llowing:
Staff and Labour
"Save inso far as the Contract otherwise provides, the Contractor shall
provide and maintain suitable accommodation and amenities for all its
st:iff and labour, employed for the purpose of or in connection with the
Contract, includ ing all fencing, water supply (both for drinking and other
purposes), electricity supply, sanitation, fire prevention and fi refighting
equipment, air cond itioning, refrigerators, furniture and other
requirements in connection with such accommodation or amenities. On
completion of the Works, unless otherwise agreed, the temporary camps
/ housing provided by the Contractor shall be removed and the Site be
reinstated to its original condition, all to the approval of the Employer's
Representative.

Notwithstanding the above, following completion of the Works in case

the Employer requires the Contracto r not to remove/demolish the
temporary-built camps/houses, then the relevant cost, as determined by
the Employer's Represen tati ve, shall be paid to the Contractor."

Contractor's 6.8 Add the follow in~ paragraph at the end of sub-clause:
Superintendence
'A reasonable proportion of the Contractor's superintending staff shall
have a working knowledge of English and Urdu; otherwise the
Contractor shall arrange a sufficient number of competent interpreters to
be available at the Site during all working hours."

Measures 6.13 Add new Sub-Clause 6. 13 as follows:

And Pest ''The contractor shall at all times take the necessary precaution s to
Nuisance protect all staff and labour employed on the Site from insect nuisance,
rats, and other pests and reduce the dangers to health and the general
