I am an experienced Accountant who possesses an extensive financial and management accounting

knowledge and skill, with excellent team and relationship building skills. Competent with a proven
ability to resolve financial problems and restore confidence in reported numbers. Diligent with an
ability to work autonomously and confidently in an advisory/consulting role. Maintains a good track
record of developing financial controls and administrative processes to help improve business
efficiency, performance and accountability I therefore have a strong working knowledge of Finance
polices, systems and supporting Microsoft packages.
I have undertaken 4 years study towards ACCA qualification and became ACCA qualified in 2012 and
then undertook 2 years Executive MBA Master in Business Administration completed in 2015.
I have experience in Finance management, business development cases, particularly Planning,
Strategy, forecasting, management accounting, contracting and statutory reporting and would like
to pursue my career in this area.
My ACCA studies and practical experience over my career in Finance at Turning Point UK and FHP
Living have included quantitative analysis producing budget statements, implementing management
control, Statement of in comprehensive income and statement of financial positions. I have
developed a sound understanding in accounts, efficiency, probity and high performance.
I have very strong communication and people skills and I am confident liaising with senior managers,
directors and external bodies, along with business owners (Entrepreneurs), and private sector
limited companies. I also provide advice and guidance to representatives from individual SMEs
clients. Providing advice and support to leading estate agent, chartered surveyors & residential
property consultancy, throughout.

In my role as Accountant at Turning point and FHP Living, I have actively brought about
improvements to procedures and processes resulting in more accurate reporting, thus enhancing
business performance, and reducing complaints, by spearheading an initiative to dramatically
improve quality and accuracy of information held for clients, landlords and tenants.

I currently manage accounts for individual clients who outsource all of their accounting functions
with us by preparing and maintaining their accounts. I have rebuilt some of the accounts in order to
provide accurate information for the client and the external bodies such as the bank and auditors. By
doing this I have managed to save over 7000 of fines for a client from the auditors and the
companies house for not being able to file accurate account information on time. Therefore, this has
taught me the importance of maintaining accurate and effective accounting information for any
company.

No policy/ procedures was in place prior to my starting within the Finance team both in my current
and previous employer. I took the initiative to review what was in place and created finance manual
to provide FHP Living with internal guidelines, speed up the process and implemented robust
controls within the first 6 months.
I have improved the companys financial performance by introducing new procedures and processes
that align with the company long term strategy. This is by managing the company working capital
and maintaining strong debtors control by reducing the debtors account from 386000 to 120000
within 3 months. This has enabled the company to return from loss to profit and stabilise their
financially stressed. The knowledge, skills and experience acquired from my studies has allowed me
to enhance my communication skills, ability to build relationship with different stakeholders and
negotiate at all levels with internal and external clients.

I have had the opportunity to lead a team on a designated project. As team leader I was involved in
looking at the implementation of new processes but also responsible for the teaching and mentoring
staff in relation to new processes.

In particularly this is a unique opportunity and honour to work for the Ngo organisation that support
and help people in needs, so I can share my knowledge and expertise in supporting them. I therefore
believe teamwork enhances working conditions and that a successful team can bring about positive
changes. I am confident that I am a strong applicant for this position, and believe the skills I have
acquired in my career to date and in my ACCA & MBA studies will enable me to competently
undertake the role and responsibilities to a high standard whilst providing me with a good
opportunity to develop my skills and utilise my qualifications in a new area enabling me to add
further value to this position.
