2. Describe your daily routine. Narrate, in sequence, what you usually do from the
w

moment you get up in the morning to the time you got to bed.
w

I get up early in the morning at five. I attend the calls of nature. After washing my face, I
drink some water. Then I sit before my reading table which I like the most for it bears the
weight of my most favorite books and my class books. I study physics and English up to
7 o clock. In forty five minutes I get myself ready to go to college after finishing bath,
prayer (pooja), and breakfast. In fact, we are asked to stay in the college up to 9 pm but

my father has taken permission from the principal to take my son home at 7 o clock as
he believes that a student must be given time to assimilate or to completely understand
and begin to use his mind for new ideas and information. He often reminds me to read
more books other then prescribed ones as curriculum. I refresh myself in fifteen minutes
after coming from college and do some petty jobs of my choice including watching TV
and making my bed and reading table upto 8:15 pm. I sit before my table and study the

m
other subjects upto 10:30 pm. I go to sleep meditating God/listening to old songs sung by

co
Gantasala, Mukesh and Kishore Kumar.
Notes: Assimilate=to absorb, to become incorporated or learned and understood.

n.
Petty=trivial or minor.

3.Describe the procedure of painting a newly constructed house.
Painting is a laborious job but a beautiful hobby. We dont paint a house daily but an
uc
artist with a liking for painting often does paint almost daily. Last month I played the role
of a painter after the house warming celebration was successfully over; my hobby
ed

painting did encourage me to paint the constructed house. To my artistic selection of

i

colours, Asian paints added glory to our dream house. I chose only light colours; Baby
sh

pink, sea green, sky blue and cream colours. All interior was painted cream and sea
ak

green. Outside walls, sit outs were painted baby pink. Window sills with sky blue. It took
nearly fifteen days for me to paint the house. Though not a professional did, I did my best
.s

and the painted house owned the appreciation and admiration of many, especially my
w

father.
