Students are given a letter verbally and write it Letter Writing accurately Measures students spelling ability; gives more in depth Words Their Way information of a childs ability to hear and record sounds in words. Allows you to pinpoint area of need. Gives information about students general knowledge of sight words. Substitutions they make reveal something F&P Sight Word Identification Test about their knowledge of letter/sound relationships and spelling patterns. Fountas Pinnell Benchmark Measures students reading level while noting attention Assessment to fluency and comprehension. 3 minute timed math fact fluency assessments. There are 2 given per benchmark given (pre and post) to show Math Fact Fluency growth on the same assessment (as each grading period the assessment gets progressively more difficult). Students are shown a number card and must tell the Number ID name of the number. Students are given blank 120 chart (and more) and are to Number Writing fill them out. Points are given to accurately written and placed numbers. Mid Year and EOY benchmark assessments are given EnVision 2.0 Topic Assessments based on grade level curriculum.
