PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
BERGER Touchwood Woodorite Primer is a specially formulated alkyd based primer to protect wood and similar
substrate. It has excellent sealing and filling properties, which protects wood from swelling due to absorption of moisture.
It penetrates into wood fiber and gives excellent adhesion to substrate and also serves as a sound base for the application of
undercoats and finishing coats. It also protects the finish coat from exudation of resinous matter oozing out from wood.

Wood and similar substrate.

Practical coverage : Practical coverage may depend on surface profile, method of application and weather conditions.

APPLICATION DATA

Method of Application : Brush, Roller, Spray

Thinner : Solvalux 7 - 9
Thinning ratio (by vol.) : Brush or Roller : as such or upto 5%
Spray : 10 - 15%

SURFACE PREPARATION
In case of grease / oil contamination use Solvalux 7 - 9 for cleaning the surface before sanding with suitable abrasive paper.

For larger area wire brush can be used for removal of old paint.

For old and strongly adhered paint film BERGER Quick Paint Remover should be used for stripping the paint.
APPLICATIONS DETAILS
On the prepared surface, apply Touchwood Wood Primer after thinning to adjust viscosity.

Apply two coats by convenient method of application, keeping in mind the drying time between coats.

One coat x Berger Touchwood Woodorite Primer
One coat x Berger Universal Undercoat
Two coats x Berger Premium Enamel / Berger Decora Enamel

Do not over thin.
