Q1. Please state your name and other personal circumstances for the record.
A1. My name is Mrs. Yvonne Aguilluz-Guevarra. I am 28 years old, married,
and a resident of 123 Malate, Manila.
Q2. Are you the same Yvonne Aguilluz-Guevarra, the private complainant in
this case?
A2. Yes, sir.
Q6. I see. And were you able to obtain a Certificate of Marriage for this?
A6. Yes, sir.
Q9. After the two of you got married, what happened, if any?
A9. After our wedding, we lived together as husband and wife in our conjugal
dwelling in Sierra Subdivision, Manila City. We were both happy, for a
time. However, several months into our marriage, Victor began to exhibit
signs of irresponsibility. He would leave the house and would come back
only after several days. This often became the subject of our quarrels and
verbal altercations.
Q12. Notwithstanding this de facto separation with your husband, you did not
bother to have your marriage annulled?
Q12. No, sir.
Q13. So you are still married to accused Victor Guevarra to this day?
A13. Yes, sir.
Q14. Okay. Going back to what happened, what prompted you to return to the
Philippines?
A14. Sometime in August 2015, a relative of mine who works in the City of
Muntinlupa, informed me that my husband, Victor Guevarra, contracted
marriage with another woman, a certain Janine Arguello last February 14,
2015.
Q15. Is that so? Were you able to obtain a document which purports to show the
fact of marriage between accused Victor Guevarra and Janine Arguello?
A15. Yes, sir. I was able to obtain a Certificate of Marriage.
