MOP FW 2.10.09 upgrade & IPV6

 Firmware update Procedure (Current Bank Step-1)
Go to Equipment Utility>>Update (Storage>>NE) Utility
Switch on the maintenance mode and select Program file and click execute
Select Main Card from drop down and click next.

Browse the Firmware file 2.10.09 and click ok and start firmware upgrade.

After completing the update of file click ok on the below message (F/W reset Control) appeared on screen

Select Main Card from drop down and click next.

Prerequisites and Steps to be followed

1. 1.Laptop should have IPv6 support in TCP/IP setting.

2. Once FW is update sucessfully.Logout the NE from local login

IP 172.17.254.253.

3. Login via local login DHCP IPv6 http://[fe80::1:da50]

4. Configure IPv6 as per plan at near end and far end as per
procedure in next slides.(3-18)

5. Check inband management setting as per the procedure.

Login the NE using IP address as below:

1.Go to Equipment Setup>>Network Management Configuration>>Port /VLAN setting>>Click on
Inband Management VLAN setting >>select Inband Management 1 used and put VLAN ID

and configure SNMP community for secondary server as below:-
Community Name: private1
Access control 1(IPV6) Enable
Source IP address 1 (IPV6):-Secondary Server IPv6 address
Prefix Length 1 (IPv6):128
