Thermoplastic junction box

application
The cable junction boxes are made of a thermoplastic polymer, either polypropylene or polyethylene. These two
plastics are soft, which means that it is malleable to a certain extent. This allows installation of cables either
directly through the wall with a penetration pin, or the wall can be cut with a knife at the pre-marked points, in order
to create an insertion opening for cables.

truss-head bolts. Type B9/T junction boxes can bemounted very easily by inserting the screw plug
supplied into the centre hole on themounting plate.

The Duroplast junction boxes are made of Aminoplast. This plastic is hard and is highly resistant, meaning that the
walls are very stiff. This means that the required openings can be broken-out at the marked points using a
screwdriver. Cables can be perfectly installed with cable glands, either directly in a housing thread or in a
penetration hole with a cable gland and a locknut in the interior.
