I am writing to you regarding the job currently being listed at Tom Lee in North Vancouver, and would
like to apply for your retail staff team. Please find my resume, enclosed in this letter.

I fulfill the requirements of having a musical background. I began lessons in the piano and violin at the
age of 5 and 9 respectively. Currently, I am in the final stage of completing my piano ARCT Performers
Diploma, from the Royal Conservatory of Music. As a classical music enthusiast, I have extensive
knowledge in musical history, as well as music theory. I am familiar with all the material (repertoire,
books, test papers, etc.) that every aspiring musician needs, as I was trained under the RCM syllabus for
nearly 10 years.

I have had experience in sales before, particularly at my school, where I contributed towards the
organizing of events and working together with people I was not too acquainted with. At these events,
we successfully sold off a great number of food, as well as tickets.

I have many great memories at Tom Lee. The staff who worked at the place were always kind people. I
remember chatting often with some of the staff, and whenever I needed something, from Paganinis
Caprices to 2016s RCM exam papers, they were able to assist me. I hope to join the staff and continue
to accommodate to the needs of the music community, in the warm and caring manner that has become
synonymous with Tom Lee over the years. With my knowledge in music, and experience in sales, I
believe that I will be a valuable asset in joining your retail staff team.
