Jr. Web Focus/ BI Developer-090014501

Description
Performs all phases of systems and programming development and maintenance. Interviews clients to
identify and coordinate projects, finalizes requirements and coordinates size of projects across other
technical units. Prepares project/release status reports and participates in making alterations to plans as
needed. Implements and maintains applications systems for clients including preparation of
documentation of system changes and enhancements, and operating manuals. Develops and schedules
project implementation plans and monitors the progress of the assigned projects. Interfaces with clients
to answer questions, respond to requests, and provide technical assistance and training.
Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, implement and support WebFocus applications.


• Coordinate WebFocus environment maintenance, upgrades and support with the US Bank WebFocus Center of Excellence.
• Maintain good source control and documentation of application code, development, testing, standards and deployment processes.
• Periodic on-call responsibilities for application support.

• 1-3 years of experience using as a Programmer Analyst or Systems Analyst


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 1+ years of experience developing SQL Queries, Scripts, Stored Procedures, Triggers, and Views is required
• A solid understanding of basic RDBMS concepts including primary keys, foreign keys, joins, constraints, and indexing is needed.
• Experience working in a structured development environment with design specs, coding standards, unit testing, source control, and change
management is needed.
• Ability to translate business and technical requirements into Detailed Technical Design documentation
• Ability to perform and/or supporting integration testing and user acceptance testing
• Ability and desire to debug and troubleshoot technical problems
• Ability to collaborate with other technical team members
• Must have strong planning, organizational, interpersonal, and verbal and written communications skills
• Willingness to learn DataStage ETL tool

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in quantitative area (Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or other related field)

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to design, develop, test, implement, and support complex DataStage ETL processes
• Experience with other ETL tools such as Informatica, Microsoft Data Transformation Services, or Oracle Warehouse Builder are pluses
• Experience with Unix and Unix Shell Scripting
• Experience in the financial services industry and/or wealth management applications
