    THE STOCK MARKET UPDATE July 17, 2017

    The S&P held in a narrow range on extremely low volume today. After the steep run-up
    from last weeks low, some lateral movement or small pullback is overdue. If a sell-off
    occurs, expect support to form between the two recent highs at 2451.50 and 2445. I see no
    evidence of bearish behavior as all trends remain bullish.
