2. The log facies provided a clearer picture of the type of sands deposited and influenced a slightly
different shape of the net sand map. It was easier to form a picture of where the channel ran and
where the bar was deposited.
3. A GR or resistivity log and lithological profile could have been used to determine the probable sand
type.

2. Under the Law of capture a landowner does not own migratory substances (such as oil and gas)
under the land but does have the exclusive right to drill for, produce, or in some other manner gain
possession of the substances, compared to unitization which establishes spacing restrictions on wells
and a sharing of profits and expenses among all the owners of the underground pool.
3. The parties would share the cost and revenues 55% and 45% respectively for Lease B and 50% each
for Lease A.
