ABSTRACT
I had done my summer internship project on the topic , Marketing of SHCIL product in
STOCK HOLDING CORPORATION OF INDIA LIMITED,ROURKELA with in the
time period 1st June to 15th July. I collect data about that organization from their managers,
workers, retailers and able to know various marketing functions of the organization.
The basic problems is to get information about the marketing of SHCIL product from Public
(potential customer) the as the sources are very limited.

The main objective of study its to know whether SHCIL is able to meet as per the
demand or not. The objective of study is to find out whether the management is really
conscious about their position in marketing.

For that, I prepared a questionnaire about that subject, then distribute the questionnaire
to the potential customer and get some valuable information, then analyze the information
and recommended to that organization.

INTRODUCTION:
Purpose of the project:
The study is about describing the different services and products offered at SHCIL. Project
mainly deals with how the resources of the organization are used in their day-to-day activities.
For a finance manager it will be of great help to know how to properly utilize the resources of
the organization. It is not only the theory, which will help in the corporate world, but also how
things happen practically. Every day the various activities happening in the department are
observed and understood carefully.
The study initially concentrated on obtaining the information from the investors on various
parameters. As it is a marketing project mainly data was be available internally. After finishing
the task, the actual analysis of the project has been started where certain important calculations
has been done. This helped to come out with some conclusions. Also the data pertaining to some
demat section managers has been taken and analyzed which made to arrive at some interim
conclusion as a part of project.
