The Combined Cycle Power Plant shall be constructed at Bahirchar union, Bheramara Upazila,
Kushtia district in the Khulna administrative division of western Bangladesh. The planned CCPP
is a significant augmentation to the electric power generating capacity for the Dhaka area of
Bangladesh. It will provide approximately 10% additional capacity on the existing power grid.
The Proposed Plant will have One Gas Turbine M 701F4, One Gas turbine Generator, One MHI
Steam Turbine, One Steam Turbine generator for a Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP) in
multi-shaft arrangement with Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG).
Plant Illumination system shall be complete with all fittings and accessories required for efficient
and trouble free operation. The lighting system shall include, but is not limited to, the following
items:

4.1.1 Design, engineering, generation of BOQ, supply of lighting equipment, unloading & handling at
site, erection, commissioning, lux level demonstration and handing over the illumination system to
owner.
4.1.2 Normal and Emergency main lighting distribution boards along with dry type lighting
transformers.

4.1.6 Earthing material of lighting system including lighting fixtures, receptacle, switches, junction
boxes and street poles/ lighting masts and jumper wire between lighting poles and junction boxes.
4.1.7 All fittings, supports, brackets, anchors, tees, elbows, check-nuts, pull boxes, saddles, spacers,
clamps, connectors and all required hardware/ accessories for installation of lighting equipment.
4.1.8 Cables and wires for the entire illumination package (except cables from LDB to LP which shall
be supplied by purchaser)
4.1.9 5 Nos. of 6A MCB feeders shall be kept in BOP area lighting panels for purchasers use.
4.1.10 Painting for support structures for illumination system.
4.1.11 Bidder shall indicate list of required start-up and commissioning spares in the appropriate technical
schedule.
4.1.12 Bidder shall indicate list of recommended spares as required in appropriate technical schedule for
plant operation for 2 years.
4.1.13 Bidder shall supply special tools, tackles and materials as required for erection, commissioning &
maintenance and shall include in the bid separately.
4.1.14 Painting of support structures for lighting.
4.1.15 Feed to switchyard emergency lighting :
a) One (1) feeder needs to be provided for switchyard emergency lighting panel from the Control
building ELDB.
All fittings and accessories required for completeness of the equipment, whether specifically
mentioned or not, but considered essential for satisfactory performance shall be included in the
scope of supply.
4.2.1 Supplier will provide the following services under the scope of this specification:

5.1 CONFLICT
Bidder's Equipment shall be designed for and shall meet the service, performance, and minimum
level of quality requirements specified. Bidder shall be solely responsible for advising the
Engineers in writing of any conflicts between the Specifications and bidder's design, including
performance and levels of quality. Bidder agrees that its obligations, liabilities and warranties shall
not be diminished or extinguished due to its meeting the requirements of the Specifications.
In the event of conflict between requirements within the Project Specification and between Project
specification and code, the most stringent requirement shall be applied after consultation with
Engineer.
6.2 In normal condition, all the plant lighting shall be fed from normal lighting distribution board and
emergency lighting distribution board. In case of failure of normal lighting, emergency lighting
system shall remain ON and shall be fed from Plant Emergency Diesel generator. In case of non-
availability of normal and emergency lighting supply, DC lights shall be switched ON
automatically.
6.3 ELDBs shall be powered by one (1) incomer supplied from essential bus of Unit cum essential
PDC fed from EDG.
6.4 DC lighting shall be switched on automatically during failure of AC supply. These shall be
switched off automatically with manual over ride after the normal or emergency AC supply has
been restored and the luminaries have attained their full glow.
6.5 The lighting fixtures in the plant shall be group controlled from lighting panel by miniature circuit
breakers. The lighting fixtures in office areas control rooms etc. shall be controlled by lighting

switch in respective offices. However entire circuit shall be controlled/ protected from MCB
located in lighting panel.
6.6 All outdoor lighting fixtures shall be automatically controlled by photocell with bypass switch
arrangement for manual control.
6.7 Electronic dimmers shall be provided form control room and admin building (conference room and
meeting rrom). The lighting for the conference and meeting room of admin building shall be
down-lights, grouped and be able to switch-off for the projector screen display. Electronic dimmer
shall be provided to adjust the illumination level smoothly down to 20% of the specified
illumination and free from glaring, stroboscope effects and flickering. The luminaries shall be
located in such a way that reflection and glaring from the projected screen or white board is
avoided.
7.1.1 The lighting fixtures and other accessories shall be installed as per attachment-1-Lighting Notes
and details.
7.1.2 In an area, the lighting fixtures shall be arranged in different phases/LPs such that even in case one

the phases. 7.1.3 The illumination system shall be installed in such a way so as to provide a uniform, reliable
aesthetically pleasing, glare free illumination. Especially control room lighting shall be such as to
prevent any glare/luminous patch to be seen on digital screen, when viewed at any angle.
Fluorescent fixtures installed in other than control room areas shall have electronic ballast
conforming to relevant IEC. For control room fixtures, the ballast shall be copper wound,
inductive, heavy-duty type, filled with thermosetting insulating moisture repellent polyester.
7.1.4 DC lighting fed from station batteries will be provided for Central control room, Main electrical
room and Control equipment room, for personnel movement, in the event of power outage. Green
internally illuminated EXIT signs shall be provided at emergency exit doors and where required to
guide people to emergency exits. The emergency lighting systems primarily consists of lights fed
directly from the DC station battery for control room, electrical, and computer equipment room
areas. Where DC lighting is not fed from station batteries, emergency light units having self-
contained battery pack shall be provided. Self-contained battery pack units shall be 2- hour rated
with nickel-cadmium cells. Self-contained lamps shall be installed in all exits, stairs, lobbies and
other essential operational areas.

7.1.5 Emergency light units having self-contained battery pack shall be provided as an integral Testing
facilities. Each battery shall be automatically maintained charged by a mains power supply
dedicated to emergency lighting circuits. Each emergency light shall switch on automatically upon
loss of its battery charger power supply and on failure of the local area lighting when the average
residual lighting level is below twice the minimum level specified for the emergency lighting and
switch off at four times the minimum level.
7.1.6 Emergency lights shall be as provided for following areas:
a) For GTG-STG Building.
b) For Admin Building.
c) For workshop.
d) For guard house.
e) For control room and control equipment room.
f) Auxiliary equipment area in central control building.
7.1.7 Detailed design calculations shall be submitted by bidder for Purchasers approval within two
weeks of receipt of input layout drawings. Bidder shall submit the detailed design calculations for
all the areas in the power plant showing the illumination levels grid wise and the uniformity
ratios. Bidder shall assess based on site conditions the suitable values to be taken for design
calculations. It shall be the responsibility of the bidder to ensure the maintained lux levels at site
and the same shall be established by the bidder by conducting the lux level measurements at site in
presence of Purchaser.
7.1.8 The exterior wall of the Admin building shall be illuminated with wall lights during the night.
7.1.9 For Admin Building, Power socket outlets shall be double gang provided in all rooms at 3 m apart
along the wall. At the conference and meeting room additional number of power socket outlets
shall be provided for the PC, projector, slide viewer, printer etc. required for presentation.
7.1.10 Responsibility of demonstrating lux level for the plant to the end customer shall be with the Bidder
and Inadequacy in the lux level shall be compensated by the bidder without any time and cost
implications.
Contour / isolux diagrams along with the uniformity ratios shall be submitted for approval.
The engineering drawings shall include the following:
a) The lighting and receptacle layouts complete with the bill of quantities for luminaries,
lamps and receptacles and the mounting arrangement for the luminaries in the respective
areas. The quantities of luminaries in each drawing shall be substantiated by design
calculations. The aiming angles shall also be incorporated in the drawings.
b) Power distribution drawings for all the panels. The location of main and emergency
lighting distribution boards shall be as indicated in the single line diagram attached.
c) The conduit layout drawing clearly showing the conduit size & routing, mounting
arrangement type, panel and luminaries no. The circuits of different phases shall not be
combined in a single conduit.

d) Streetlights shall be provided with non-integral type control gear mounted at the foot of
the pole.
e) The voltage drop between the respective source and the farthest end of the fitting will be
computed on case to case basis such that the available voltage at worst loaded conditions
and with maximum variation in source supply during steady state operation is well within
the operating limit (i.e. as per manufacturer guaranteed tolerance as per their datasheet) of
the lighting fixtures and device(s) that will be connected to the respective socket outlets.
f) The circuit distribution in building will be done in such that circuits controlled by 1 phase
MCBs will be adequately chosen so that for any given fault in down stream the respective
outgoing MCB will operate first and if fault is not cleared, the respective incomer MCB
will trip. For very large rooms say turbine building, the circuit shall be allotted such that
the alternate fittings (row/column) will be connected to different phases so that in the
event failure in one phase will not lead to complete darkness inside the building.
7.1.11 In general, the illumination level for various areas in the plant is indicated in the Table below.
Following factors shall be considered while arriving at the utilization factor to determine the
number of fixtures for each area/building in the plant.
(a) Maintenance factor
7.1.14 Dedicated circuits (control) shall be provided to control lighting of stairs, admin building,
corridors and conference room.
7.1.15 Software used by bidders shall be licensed and output of the same shall be justified by manual
calculation supported by international standards and practices.

Notes:
1. DC light fittings shall be recess mounted decorative type for air conditioned rooms with false
ceilings and industrial bulk head or industrial well glass with reflector for other areas. 100W GLS
incandescent lamp shall be used with the DC fixtures.
2. Building periphery lighting shall be provided as appropriate for functional lighting using Industrial
type, weather proof fixtures with integral control gear or well glass fixtures or bulk head fixtures
or flood light fixtures and 70W/150W HPSV lamps.
A. LIGHTING TRANSFORMERS
7.2.1 Lighting transformers shall be free standing, dry type will be air natural (AN) cooled, cast resin or
epoxy resin and indoor type.
7.2.2 The neutral of the secondary side shall be directly connected to earth bus (grounding bus).The core
clamping plates/enclosure shall be connected to earth bus.
7.2.3 The terminals of lighting transformer shall be marked as per relevant IEC. It will be enclosed in a
sheet steel enclosure, with IP: 2X degree of protection.
7.2.4 The enclosure will be provided with a door, which will be interlocked such that it is possible to
open the door only when transformer is switched off. No separate cable box will be provided for
dry type lighting transformers. Off circuit tap positions at +/- 5% in the steps of 2.5% shall be
provided by means of bolted links. The links will be accessible but completely shrouded and no
live parts will be exposed. Transformer insulation class shall be Class F.
7.2.5 The transformers shall have lifting provisions.
7.2.6 The lighting transformer shall meet the requirements of IEC 60076-11.
7.2.11 Each of the Lighting Distribution Boards shall be provided with voltmeter and ammeter along with
selector switches, `Supply On' indicating lamps, etc.
7.2.12 Automatic change over switch shall be provided in emergency lighting distribution board for
switching over to emergency supply in case of failure of normal supply. Manual by-pass shall also
be provided for the same.
7.2.13 On failure of both normal supply and emergency supply DC lighting shall be switched ON
automatically. Suitable interlocks shall be provided in each lighting board for the same.
C. LIGHTING PANELS
7.2.14 The lighting panels shall be indoor / outdoor type with indoor type having a degree of protection of
IP 52 and outdoor type IP 65 with canopy. The door shall be hinged and the panel shall be
gasketted to achieve the desired degree of protection. Removable gland plates shall be provided for
bottom entry of cables / conduits
7.2.15 All MCBs / Isolators / switches shall be mounted inside the panel and a Bakelite fiber glass sheet
shall be provided inside the main door such that the operating knobs of MCBs etc project out of it
for safe operation against accidental contact. Operating handle of the Isolator shall project out of
the door and shall have door interlocking.
For single
phase wiring 7.2.16 MCBs shall be current limiting type with magnetic and thermal release suitable for manual closing
installation, and automatic tripping under fault condition. MCBs shall have short circuit interrupting capacity

shall be additional to outlets required for building services, operational and general equipment
requirements.
All items of outdoor plant shall have one single phase (5A) and one three phase (15A) socket
outlet installed at a convenient junction box within 20 m of it. The junction box shall be shared
with cabling for the plant or outdoor lighting, but shall not be inside a cubicle containing moving
parts such as mechanism boxes associated with equipment.
Residual current devices shall be fitted to all sockets that shall be used to supply equipment or
appliances located either outdoors or in a wet or damp environment.
7.2.22 Power socket outlets (5/15A) shall be double gang provided in all rooms at 3 m apart along the
wall except in battery room. Lighting switch for battery room shall be located outside of the
battery room. Additional double gang socket outlets shall be provided at the test bench in the
testing room and laboratory. At the meeting room additional number of power socket outlets shall
be provided for the PC, projector, slide viewer, printer etc. required for presentation during
meeting and training.
At site access points/ security check posts, additional number of power socket outlets shall be
provided on bench for the equipment such as radio chargers, CCTV, radio sets, security PC, etc.
required by the security.

E. LAMP, LUMINARIES AND BALLASTS:
7.2.23 All lighting fixtures shall be designed for continuous operation for its life for the actual conditions
at site. The fixtures shall be complete with lamps, lamp holders, ballast / Control Gear box,
terminal blocks, clamps, fixing brackets etc for the combination to be mechanically sturdy and
electrically operational.
7.2.24 Flood light fixtures shall be preferably asymmetric beam pattern shall be used for better area
coverage. The flood lighting fixtures shall be preferably semi cut-off type to control the spill of
light and direct glare properly. They shall preferably have beam spread of NEMA 6x5 per NEMA
FA1-1973 or equivalent.
7.2.25 All the lighting fixtures in the hazardous area shall conform to relevant standards. Hazardous area
classification is also attached with the specification for input.
7.2.26 Lighting fixtures for control room shall have parabolic lenses.
7.2.27 All lighting fixtures shall be provided with an external earthing terminal suitable for connecting
atleast 16 SWG, Cu earthing wire. All metal parts of the housing and accessories shall be
connected to the earthing terminal.
7.2.28 All the Luminaire selection shall be based on ambient environment, mounting height, beam spread,
shielding angle and reflector shape and standby or emergency needs.
7.2.29 Twin fluorescent lamp fixtures shall be wired in lead - lag circuits to eliminate stroboscopic effect.
7.2.30 High bay fixtures shall be suitable for pendant mounting and provided with safety chains.
Floodlights shall have suitable base plate / frame for mounting on structural steel members.
7.2.31 The fluorescent lamps shall be tri - band phosphor coated type.
7.2.32 The degree of Protection for all indoor fixtures shall IP-21 and for all outdoor fixtures shall be of
weatherproof type IP-65.
7.2.33 All fixtures shall be for applications in power plant environments and materials shall have long life
and of non-corrosive type. Acrylic covers/louvers wherever used shall be of non- yellowing type
7.2.34 All luminaries and their accessories/components shall conform to applicable IEC.
7.2.35 Igniters for HPSV lamps shall be of solid state electronic type.
7.2.36 Suitable p.f. improvement capacitors shall be provided to ensure a p.f. of not less than 0.9.
7.2.37 All fluorescent luminaries shall be supplied with click -fix rotor and starter holders. Starters shall
please clarify have bi-metal electrodes and high mechanical strength.
7.2.38 Maximum temperature rise of luminaire shall be in compliance with IEC.
7.2.39 The ballast for fluorescent tube lighting shall have electronic ballast or shall consist of electronic
starter with conventional ballast. The ballast shall be constant wattage auto regulator(CWA) of
compensated high power factor type and shall be rated for the outdoor amibient temperature and
shall have low power loss. There shall not be any objectionable radio interference from the ballast
during normal operation.
7.2.40 The lamps, fixtures and ballasts shall be per relevant IEC or equivalent
7.2.41 Light fitting bodies shall be constructed from die cast aluminum or other suitable non-corroding
construction with toughened glass face. All fitting shall have high grade reflectors.
PVC sheathed cables shall be adopted. For outdoor areas like transformer yard, switchyard and
road lighting also cable wiring as above shall be adopted.
7.2.48 Minimum size of wires in case of conduit wiring shall be 2.5 sq.mm in case of lighting and 4
sq.mm in case of receptacle wiring. Minimum cable size in case of cable wiring shall be 4 sq.mm
for lighting and 6 sq.mm for receptacles.
7.2.49 Wires of different phases shall be run in separate conduits. However wires of same phase but
having different circuit nos., can be run in same conduit. Wires of lighting and power receptacles
will be carried out in separate conduits and on separate circuits. Wires of AC and DC lighting
systems shall be carried out in separate conduits.
7.2.50 For outdoor lighting, the cable shall be buried at a minimum depth of 750 mm from ground level.
The buried cables shall have suitable bedding, protective covers & markers.
H. EARTHING
7.2.51 Lighting fixtures, receptacles, switches, conduits and junction boxes shall be properly earthed
using 16 SWG Cu wire run along the entire length of the conduit between the fixture and the
corresponding lighting panel where it will be connected to the station earth.
7.2.52 For fixtures in hazardous areas, the third core of each single-phase armoured cable circuit shall be
used as earthing conductor.
7.2.53 Earthing hardware shall be provided as required for connection to Purchasers earth grid. The sizes
of earthing conductor shall be as per the following table:
I. CONDUITS
7.2.54 Conduit accessories and trunking installation shall comply with IEC 60423, IEC 60614 and the
current approved wiring regulation, i.e. IEE Wiring Regulations Rev.15.
7.2.55 The Conduit shall be suitable for outdoor and indoor installation in a combined cycle power plant
as specified in clause no 2.2- site description.
7.2.56 Unless otherwise approved, all conduit and conduit fittings shall be galvanized, of heavy gauge,
screwed, solid drawn or welded type to the Employer's approval.
7.2.57 No conduit smaller than 19mm diameter shall be used.
7.2.58 Conduit terminations shall be fitted with brass bushes.
7.2.59 Conduit ends shall be carefully reamed to remove burrs. Draw-in boxes shall be provided at
intervals not exceeding 10m in straight through runs.

7.2.60 Conduit runs shall be in either the vertical or horizontal direction unless otherwise approved and
shall be arranged to minimize accumulation of moisture. Provision for drainage shall be made at
the lowest point or points of each run. Conduits shall be supported on heavy galvanized spacer
saddles so as to stand off at least 6mm from the fixing surface.
7.2.61 All conduits run in any circuit are to be completed before any cables are pulled in. Flexible
metallic conduit shall be used where relative movement is required between the conduit and
connected apparatus, and a separate copper connection provided to maintain earth continuity.
7.2.62 The maximum number of cables in any conduit shall be in accordance with the latest issue of the
approved wiring regulations for the electrical installation.
7.2.63 The conduit pipe materials shall be as below:
a) Unless otherwise indicated, all conduits and fittings for indoor or outdoor use shall be
galvanized rigid steel.
b) For one (1) core cable, steel conduit pipe shall not be used.
c) Don't use a PVC pipe for an exposed portion. However, when steel cannot be used
environmentally, it will be permitted PVC (UV-PVC) of ultraviolet-rays-proof material.
d) If the special material conduit pipe is used at special place, it shall need the Employer's
permission.
7.2.64 Conduit, accessories and supports etc. shall be aluminum or hot dip galvanized steel, purpose
made by one manufacturer who specializes in the design and manufacture of conduit and
accessories. All conduit and accessories shall be installed to their Manufacturers requirements and
recommendations.
7.2.65 All conduits shall be installed with a minimum number of bends and offsets. Generally, conduit
runs shall be limited to about 50 m between pull points. Where bends or offsets are required, they
shall be made with the manufacturer's proprietary conduit bending equipment. Uniform circular
cross-section of the conduit shall be maintained at all bends. No single bend shall be greater than
90 deg.
7.2.66 Grounding-type connections shall be provided on all conduit runs which in turn shall be bonded to
earth.
7.2.67 Conduit ends shall be cut square, properly reamed and threaded to engage not less than five
threads. Joints shall be made up tight. Threads shall be coated with approved conductive thread
protective compounds.
7.2.68 Conduit saddles shall be provided at intervals not exceeding 1000 mm and shall be screw fixed
using stainless steel fixings.
7.2.69 All elbows, bends, tees etc. shall be of the inspection type, positioned so that their covers can be
readily removed. All covers shall be secured in place with suitable fittings.
7.2.70 Flexible conduit shall be water proof and rust proof made of heat resistant lead coated steel.
Conduit diameter shall be uniform throughout its length. Internal surface of the conduit shall be
free from burrs and sharp edges. Conduit shall be complete with necessary accessories for proper
termination of the conduit with junction boxes and lighting fixtures.

7.2.71 In corrosive areas, wiring installations shall be made with only epoxy coated MS conduit and
accessories.
7.2.72 Exposed conduits shall run in straight lines parallel to building columns/beams and walls. Conduits
shall be fixed by using metallic saddles/clamp secured to suitable nylon rawl plugs with screws or
secured to the building steel at an interval of not more than 1 m, but either side of couplers or
bends or similar fittings. Saddles/clamps shall be fixed at a distance of 30 cm from the centre of
such fittings.
7.2.73 In rooms with false ceiling, conduits shall be embedded in the wall for wiring the receptacles.
Embedded conduits shall be securely fixed in position to preclude any movement. For embedded
conduits fixing of standard bends or elbows shall be avoided and all curves shall be made bending
the conduit itself. Spacing of embedded conduit shall be such as to permit flow of concrete
between them and in no case shall be less than 40 mm. Embedded conduits shall have a minimum
concrete cover of 50 mm.
7.2.74 Lighting fixtures installed on / under platforms in HRSG area / pedestals and other structures
which are subject to vibrations shall be provided with suitable vibration dampers / rubber cushions
to minimize the variations reaching the lighting fixtures. The arrangement shall be subject to
Purchasers approval.
7.2.75 The bracket for mounting the lighting fixtures on HRSG platforms shall be fabricated using 40 mm
dia. conduit with a reducing socket to suit the fixture and clamped to the hand rails. However, the
clamping of these conduits at points of large vibrations should be avoided. The fixing shall be
strong enough to withstand vibrations and wind velocity. If a roof (or other platform) over the
platform is available, the fixture will be pendant mounted (supported to the structural members of
the platform above).
7.2.76 Flood lights shall be mounted on steel base on structures / walls columns masts / poles. Fixing hole
shall be provided with slot to turn the fixture by about 5 deg. on both sides. Bolts shall be
tightened with spring washers. Terminal connection to the flood lights shall be made through
flexible-conduits.
7.2.77 The supply of all steel brackets, channels, angles, supporting, anchoring material and hardware
also steel brackets / hangers for bridging the gap above false ceiling and other accessories is in
bidder Suppliers scope.
7.2.78 High bay lighting fixtures shall generally be pendent mounted using bolts. Hook mounting type
shall not be acceptable.
7.2.79 To distinguish emergency AC fixtures from normal AC fixtures, red painted circular mark of 1 cm.
dia. shall be provided on emergency fixtures.
7.2.80 All steel erection accessories shall be brushed-up and shall be painted as per surface preparation
and as painting requirements
7.2.81 All accessories/fittings required for making the installation complete shall include tees, elbows,
check nuts, brass or galvanized steel end caps. PVC/brass bell mouths for water proof sealing, pull
boxes, saddles, spacers and required supporting steel work.

7.2.82 All boxes shall be of substantial galvanized sheet steel construction, fitted with external fixing lugs
and finished in accordance with the specification requirements for painting and finishing.
7.2.83 The boxes shall comply with the specified enclosure classification.
7.2.84 All weatherproof boxes shall have internal anti-condensation finish. No cables shall be terminated
into the top of outdoor boxes unless specifically approved by the Employer.
7.2.85 Each box shall be complete with bolted covers and suitably inscribed identification labels that shall
be screwed onto the box. Attachment using adhesives is not permitted.
7.2.86 Holes shall be provided on the gland plate only as required. Every unused outlet is to be sealed.
7.2.87 All boxes shall be provided with earthing terminals.
7.2.88 The Contractor shall supply to the Employer four copies of accurate termination or destination
charts showing the as-fitted arrangement of cables and core in each box. The Bidder shall provide,
following the Employer's approval, for one additional plastic coated copy of the appropriate chart
to be fixed to the interior of each box.
7.2.89 Boxes shall be of such design that condensed water cannot affect the insulation of the terminal
boards or the cables. Boxes shall include all terminals and internal fittings that shall be to the
approval of the Employer.
8.0 INSPECTION AND TESTING
The detailed Quality Assurance Plans for all the equipment, packages and services in Bidder's
scope, submitted by the Bidder shall be reviewed and the final QAPs, after incorporating
Purchaser's comments, shall be finalized before contract.
Bidder to prepare and submit along with the bid, his Quality Assurance plans (QAP) covering all
the equipment, packages in his scope as mentioned anywhere in this document. These QAPs shall
cover all the quality control, inspection and testing requirements during manufacturing necessary
to ensure best quality and complying with specification requirements and shall necessarily cover
the requirements.
The Bidder shall again officially submit the QAPs, Field Quality Plan (FQPs), Procedures, etc. as
per Master Project Schedule for Purchaser's and Owner's Approval.
A complete set of special equipment and tools, required for erection, inspection, testing,
commissioning, maintenance, repair, adjustment and complete dismantling and assembling of the
equipment, will be included by Bidder in Technical Schedule 8 & will be under the bidder scope
of supply.

Tools will be shipped to the project in a suitable, separate container clearly marked for
Identification with the name of the equipment for which they are intended.
The Bidder will ensure that all special tools supplied to Purchaser are in perfect conditions and of
best quality.
In addition to the spares mentioned above, the Bidder should indicate the recommended Spares
required for Defect liability period of two (2) years in the attached Sec-III Technical Schedule 7
with unit price validity of two (2) year.
12.0 WARRANTIES
The Purchaser is contracting with Bidder for the purchase of the scope of this Contract agreement
for ultimate sale to and use by the Owner. Therefore, Bidder agrees that all rights of the Purchaser
for any failure to meet Specifications or for any other breach of the warranty provided by this
Contract Agreement shall run to the benefit of and be fully enforceable by Owner.
All materials and parts incorporated into the Works shall be new and shall conform to the
specifications, drawings, samples and other descriptions set forth in this Contract or provided by
Bidder and approved by Purchaser, and where not specified, such materials and parts shall be of
the most suitable grade of their respective kinds for their intended use and all workmanship shall
be in strict accordance with this Contract and with sound technical practices.
Subject to the provisions hereof, Bidder warrants the Works done by him or by any of its vendors
or subcontracts or any tier against defects in the design, engineering, materials, equipment and
workmanship furnished or performed under this Contract as specified in commercial section.
13.0 DEVIATIONS
No deviation to this specification will be acceptable unless specifically indicated in the Technical
schedule 4 of section III. All deviations will be clearly spelt out separately with the clause
number by the Bidder including the price implications.
No deviations in any form will be acceptable without the formal consent the Purchaser.
Compliance with this specification will be taken for granted in absence of any specific mention of
deviations in the said list of deviation. Any implied deviation or any deviation mentioned
elsewhere in the offer will not be considered.

conduits etc.
b) GA drawings and single line diagrams of lighting system showing lighting transformer,
lighting panels, poles, luminaries, junction boxes etc.

e) Start-up and commissioning spares
f) Sample calculation and GA drawing of one AC and one Non-AC area (indoor and outdoor).
The required engineering and design shall begin immediately after Release for package order,
regardless of the shipping date, and shall proceed in an expeditious and orderly manner until
complete.
Bidder shall submit project specific Drawings and data for review as described below. G.A. shall
be furnished in AutoCAD along with the PDF format.
Bidders delivery schedule will be in accordance with the delivery requirement as stipulated in
General Conditions of Contract. Delivery schedule shall be submitted by Bidder for Purchasers
approval.
Equipment will be adequately sealed and protected during shipment to prevent corrosion, entrance
of foreign matter, moisture and possible damage from rough handling during transit. Any articles
or materials that might otherwise be lost in shipping will be boxed or wired in bundles and plainly
identified as described hereinafter.
Total DFT for primer and finished paint as per manufacturers standard.
The function of each relay, control, indicating and alarms device, fuse, etc. shall be separated.
Generally the plate material shall be stainless steel, for the water treatment plant plastic plates shall
be used. Size of plate and lettering shall be to the approval of the Purchaser.
