    HIP 2017 ACTIVITIES (SUGGESTIONS)

    Activity 1: English On Air


    Brief This activity is for all level 2 students. Students
    Description can dedicate songs to their friends or teachers
    as well during recess time
    Objectives To enhance a more fun environment in English
    learning by using songs as the medium
    (appropriate English Songs)
    Best Practices Create situation where pupils can learn new
    (Creating an vocabs and correct pronunciation through
    immersive songs in a more enjoyable manner
    programme)
    Implementation 1. Select a list of songs
    Steps 2. Pupils are selected and trained on handling
    the PA system
    3. The list of songs will be paste in the
    classroom
    4. Each class are allowed to choose one song
    together with dedications
    5. Example: Monday will be for Year 4 ,
    Wednesday for Year 5 and Friday for Year 6
