Visitors, welcome.
We hope you are blessed through worshiping with us today. Our host family
has prepared a meal to share and to visit with you in their home. In the
narthex, after the service, the hosts will introduce themselves and invite you.
 Today, HRC candidate Scott Dibbet will lead our services.
 Rev. Maurice Roberts, of Scotland, will conduct our worship services for
the next two Lord’s Days. Rev. Roberts will preach a preparatory message
in the morning service on August 22.
 Pastor Bilkes and Jane will be leaving later this week for Chilliwack,
British Columbia. They plan to return September 9.
 Today's second collection will be for family camp. The costs of the
speakers, camp activities and supplies, and other financial support, are
covered by this account to help keep the cost per family down. Please
prayerfully consider giving, pray for the safe arrival of the speakers, and for
the Lord's blessing on our time together.
 Bulletin notices/messages for this coming Lord’s Day bulletin, should

2010 Puritan Reformed Conference
The Beauty and Glory of Christ

The second annual Puritan Reformed Conference is just weeks away. If you
have not registered, you will want to soon! The low price for early
registration is only good through August 14. College and seminary student
registrations are heavily discounted. If you are only able to attend Thursday
and Friday evenings, you would just pay for those sessions.

only) in the church basement. We will be assembling the camp folders.

School teachers to meet with us at the church.
August 14 (Saturday) 7 PM Young Adult Book Study. It will be game
night.
August 14 (Saturday) 7 PM Informal service at Mel Trotter Mission.
August 21 (Saturday) 7 PM Young Adult Book Study at the seminary. We
will be studying lesson 13 “The Great Misunderstanding.”
August 21 (Saturday) Word & Deed Annual Softball Tournament -
We have a great day of family entertainment planned including children's
activities. A reasonably priced lunch and/or snacks will be available from
10 -2. Games start at 8 AM. Come join us at the Christian Reformed
Recreation Center on 36th and cheer on your favorite team!

 I am thankful for so many faithful friends and family who continually
remembered me (and my family) in prayer this past year. It has been difficult
in many ways....but looking back we see Gods hand in it ALL...leading,
guiding, teaching and comforting. I especially am thankful for your prayers,
cards and packages that were sent. Your support has been a blessing to
me. Our faith has been tried, but seeing Gods mercy when we are so
