BECKGROUND
Perfomance FOLKTALE IN SOME EXPRESSIONS.
IN THEM: Vocal Mastery, Mastery's expression, intonation Basic, Body
Flexibility Mastery, Mastery Understanding the Role Character, AND
Mastery staging.
Acting Drama
A good playwright should master the technique of role. Mechanical role (acting) is a way
to utilize the equipment expression (both physical and spiritual) as well as skills in using the
support element. Which includes skills using physical means of expression is the skill of using
the body, the body flexibility, fairness behave, proficiency in vocal, and the wealth of
imagination manifested in behavior.

The equipment is an expression that is both psychological imagination, emotion, will,


memory, intelligence, feelings, and thoughts. By a drama actor, character figures will be
illustrated by:
physical appearance (handsome, stooped, thin, and so on);
appearance physical behavior (slow, loud, dynamic, and so on);
vocal performance (the pronunciation of words, dialogue, songs, and so on); and
appearance and IQ emotions (angry, whiny, sneaky, and so on).

It can be learned and trained with vocal / voice and soul though. A good performer is a
man who has the ability to:
acting with reasonable;
animates or appreciate the role;
skilled and creative;
powerless strong imagination; and
impressive (to convince the audience).

In order to have the ability as a good performer, in addition to the five matters related to
the reading of the manuscript there are four more things that must be considered.

A. Facial expression:
1. The expression eye
Mata is the center of expression that must be cultivated, trained, and adjusted in advance in
accordance with a variety of emotions. Try practicing in front of a mirror to show a sense of
delight, anger, and so with imagination / imagining a thing!

2. Expression mouth
After the trained eye expressions / adjusted, a new expression of the mouth, because the
feeling that radiates from the eyes of vines
to mouth the same way. Keep eye expression in line / in accordance with the expression of the
mouth so that the two are mutually supportive and reinforce the emotions that will be highlighted
through the whole facial expression.

2. Skills foot
Many novice players who look stiff with legs like a nail stuck. Feet should make players
more alive. Then it must seek the position of the feet follow the direction of advance. If the face
moves to the left, follow to change the position of the feet
and the body to the left also.
3. Voice and speech
If we play without loudspeakers, then demanded a strong voice in order to achieve as far
as possible listeners.
The important thing here is how our voices can clearly be heard but not squeal. Many people
talked to the jaw and lips almost closed and not used properly. Lower jaw and tongue. Open lips
and BLAST sound. Or practice with a yawn as if sleepy, then lower jaw and sound vocals /
vowels.

4. Interpretation / Interpretation
In the interpretation of a player has to understand the whole story is woven in a particular
plot and character to know her character. This activity can be a collaboration between the
director and players / actors in understanding the text.
