ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT
I. Introduction

Executive Order no. 311 series of 2004 (Designating the Office for
Transport Security as the Single Authority responsible for the security of
Transportation Systems of the country, expanding its powers and
functions and for other purposes).

Assume the functions of the National Civil Aviation Security Committee
(NCASC) enumerated in Section 4 of Executive Order 277 dated January
30, 2004 as well as all other powers and functions of the NCASC subject,
however, to Section 3 of this Executive Order;
Pursuant to these powers and functions the Agency provides its Core
Functions:
Develop and accredit transport security course curriculum and certify trainers
and transport personnel.

H. Administrative Matters
As of January 2016 2015, OTS has a total strength of 1,890 of which 1,682 are Security
Screening Officers (SSOs) deployed at the different airports nationwide. A total of 208
employees are performing administrative and technical functions.
Also, a total of 28 contracts of service under Job Order status were processed. In addition,
the following administrative support services have been accomplished:
Processed the daily time record of 1,890 personnel generated from the biometrics of
which 208 assigned at OTS Main and 1,682 are assigned from the different airports
nationwide.
Processed and granted 530 sick leave, 120 mandatory leave, 132 special privilege
leave, 192 vacation leave, 4 paternity leave, 6 maternity leave applications, continuous
updating and recording of leave credit cards of 1,862 personnel
On morale and welfare, OTS had granted the following loans: 149 for GSIS, 99 for
PAGIBIG, 17 for PSMBFI and 1 for AMWSLAI; and the following certifications: 21 for
PHILHEALTH and 22 for Employment and Compensation and Last Payment
