LIQUOR STORE MANAGER'S REPORT/COMMENTS
Cushman asked Bratrud how her new position as liquor store manager has,
been going.
Bratrud said she likes the position and things have been going well. She
commented staffing has been going well and the liquor store has a good
computer system in place that is very, very helpful.
1Bromeland said Bratrud has been doing well.
Bratrud noted some changes that may be needed to the liquor store's
Facebook page and inquired about how to make those changes.
Bromeland said she would look into the process of how to make the changes.
REVISIT CONCEPT OF NEW STORE AND DISCUSS NEXT STEPS.
Bromeland distributed information compiled by Brandon Finck regarding
building costs, debt service, labor, depreciation, additional sales income needed
and miscellaneous expenses pertaining to the construction of a new liquor store,
Liquor Committee members briefly reviewed the information. The consensus
was to go through the figures when Finck was present so he could explain them
further. Committee members also briefly reviewed a map of the DP4 area for
potential sites for a new liquor store.
REVISIT SUNDAY SALES DISCUSSION AND RECOMMENDATION TO THE CITY
COUNCIL
Bromeland asked the Liquor Committee members if they wanted to make an
official recommendation to the City Council regarding Sunday liquor sales.
Madden asked if any recommendation was needed since the consensus had
been that there would be no changes in the liquor store’s days and hours of
operation and no Sunday liquor sales.
Cushman said no one from the City Council has asked about what the Liquor
Committee’s plans were regarding Sunday liquor sales.
