Dedication This workbook is dedicated to all those who

have a love for Magick and for those who love getting the
most out of life. Most of all my Demons (Divine
Intelligences) who made this work possible and gave me
the desire and will to create such a needed work for all
those who are serious in their studies. I would also like to
dedicate this work to all those who have made this series a
success and gave encouragement and support along the
way to keep going and finish it. To my readers Thank
you all so much!
Introduction

After we learn the basics of energy manipulation, direction

and learning what our True Intent is, it is usually the next
step in the process to begin learning how to build
correspondences. What is a correspondence? It is the fine
tuning of what weve previously learned on our spiritual and
magickal practice. They are the bread and butter of what
makes our magick more unique to us, and helps to dial in
more directly to the energy we are trying to create. It is the
goal of this chapbook to get you familiar with the Zodiac,
how to use each sign, how to incorporate what we call
correspondences into your practice to make your
experiments more power packed and get your results faster
and more accurately.

Just a quick note about this workbook: This is by no means

a course in astrology. What this book is intended for is
magick using the energy of each Zodiac sign to fulfil your
magickal goal.

There are many correspondences from which to choose. You

may include just one or two, or you may get as elaborate as
you can get to create a ritual that incorporates 10 or more
correspondences. In the beginning of your work however,
you may want to try just a couple at a time to see the effects
of each corresponding zodiac sign within your experiment.
After you get a feel for just one or two, begin adding more a
few more elements and note your results. Its always a good
practice to journal all of your experimentation. You can go
back later and re-read what youve done, and also to
compare the results to what you experienced when you did
the work. Often times, results wont manifest for days, weeks
or sometimes even months later. If youve been journaling
your experiences you will begin to see patterns. The same is
true of correspondences. Over time, your perceptions and
experiences with each one will change as you gain a better
understanding of the zodiac sign.

What Ive provided you with here, is a very basic set of

correspondences to begin to work from. There are many
more corresponding elements you can learn to use than
what I have listed. These are the very basic elements that
you should learn and incorporate into your practice.

Building your correspondences is a simple process, though

a lot a people dont do it. Its easier to look it up in a book,
and go from there, without even knowing what the zodiac
sign means. Unfortunately, this is commonplace in todays
world, and the old ways of learning to research each one
individually has gone by the wayside. It is my intention that
you will take this work, and begin to do as many like myself
have done over the years, and begin to use your own list of
correspondences, and build upon what is presented here.

The book is broken down into each zodiac sign, with their
corresponding elements listed below. I have headed each
zodiac section with its symbol, as that is part of the learning
process, knowing what each symbol is for each one. You will
come across many instances as you progress in your
magickal studies where you will not see words for planets,
elements and zodiac signs, just their symbols so knowing
how to recognize them is very important.

So why this work? Why not just refer to tables of

correspondences that are in so many other books? The
answer is simple. Many people look at those lists and tables
and have no idea what they mean, or what to do with the
information. It is my intent to make the information available
in one work, and give an explanation to each zodiac sign, as
well as give you examples of rituals that have incorporated
these kinds of correspondences in them. After the section,
you will also notice a separate section that has a quiz on it,
as well as some exercises you can do to get better
acquainted with the correspondences. Ive broken down the
sections on the planets in the following manner:

Day(s) of the week The day of the week that is associated

with the current zodiac sign
Planet The planet associated with each zodiac sign
Dates Dates that correspond to each zodiac sign
Number The base number associated with the zodiac sign
Deities The Deities associated with the zodiac sign
Colors - The color associated with the zodiac sign
Metal The metal associated with the zodiac sign
Stones The stones associated with the zodiac sign
Herbs The herbs and scents associated with the zodiac
sign
Element The element associated with the zodiac sign
Magick and Ritual - Rituals and Magick associated with
each Zodiac sign
Keyword A word or phrase that correlates to the essence
of the Zodiac sign, you can use it as a meditation tool, or
incorporate it into your magickal working.
As you can see with the above list, there are many things
you can use to make your magick more meaningful to you.
Now that Ive listed them, what does it all mean?

The deities Ive listed are very few, and are the ones I mostly
work with. There are many more you can associate with each
planet, and I encourage you to add to, or replace it with your
own pantheon of deities that you work with the most. Or try
some new ones. The choice is totally up to you, and thats
the beauty of correspondences, they are very versatile, and
you are in complete control of what elements to include or
not.

If you look at the last thing on the list, Magick and Ritual, it
gives you a hint as to what kinds of magick you can use the
planet for. This is not a complete list of correspondences but
they are the most common uses for each planet.

Here are some examples of ways you might use these

correspondences:

1. Create a charm bag with herbs and/or stones in it, on the

day associated with the zodiac.
2. Write a ritual that honors the zodiac sign, and perform it
on the day associated, using stones, herbs and candles.
3. Make incense and oleums with the herbs associated with
the zodiac sign.
4. Wait until the planet is in a zodiac sign associated, and
then perform the ritual on the day associated, as well as in
the appropriate planetary hour (See Magickal Planets by B.
Morlan).

5. Using the element associated with the zodiac sign, cast a

circle beginning in the direction associated with that
element, then use incenses made for the specific sign, write
and then burn requests to attune to that zodiac sign.

The list can go on. There are endless possibilities to creating

correspondences and making your magick more powerful.
On a side note, I would also suggest that as you work
through this book, practice writing the symbols for the
zodiac signs as you go, over and over. The repetition is
good for recognition of the sign in other works that rely
heavily on symbols instead of the words.

Its also a good idea to get a copy of Aleister Crowleys

book, 777, for the meaning of numbers. This can be a key
component in figuring out what the number of each zodiac
means, and can give you more ideas for experiments to try.

As with all magick, once youve completed it, forget about it.
Let it manifest and become reality. And, dont forget to let it
have time. Dont get frustrated if your rite is taking longer to
manifest, its perfectly normal to have to wait for it. Make
sure your intent was clear and concise as well; this can more
often than not hinder the magickian and cause frustration
and annoyance, and can sometimes stifle them as well.
Youve done your part; let the energy do its part.

That being said lets dive right in and get to work on learning
and studying the Zodiac Signs.

By now I'm sure you have a lot to think about. I know you
have a lot to do! I have given you plenty of ideas to create
some powerful tools to aid you in your magickal journey. I
admit there is a lot of repetition, but this helps the
information to stick better while you're learning how to use it
in your spiritual and magickal practice.

That being said I hope you enjoy getting to know the

correspondences. Although the books in this series seem to
be simple and 101 material, I can assure you that if you DO
the work, DO the meditations, even the most advanced
practitioner will find this series invaluable, not only to teach
from, but also to gain new insights and expand on the
information you may already know. As many people know
and understand, information changes over time, not
necessarily in content, but in meaning. So, I urge you to
consider this as you go about your journey!

This series only contains 4 books; however there are

volumes of information concerning just this one topic of
Correspondences. Explore them and utilize the information in
them, and also from your experimentation. There is only so
much book knowledge you can gain without experiencing
the awesome and extraordinary energy that is all around us,
and within us. We are Divine beings, we need to
acknowledge that and learn from it as well as external forces
of energy that will guide us until the end of time.

Until next time Be well and always experiment. But most

important of all, WRITE IT DOWN!
