YEAR: 2nd grade


DATE: MONDAY, MARCH. 13th

ACTIVITIES: Identify and describe the toys

ROUTINE: * Description and use of the adjective possessive; my, his and her.

* Take the students to the multimedia room to watch and listen to the video about, Toys in the
box, and ask the same questions previously to check if the recognize the characters. Make
emphasis on each character description.
Come back to the classroom and check how many words, phrases or simple sentences they
remember from the video.

DATE: TUESDAY, MARCH. 14th

ACTIVITIES: The face

ROUTINE: * Flash card written activity

* Ask the students to perform some actions by using the hands as a break ice technique
previously to the class. Then give them a flash card written activity to do in class. Give a
brief explanation of the activity and help any student. At the end, they and share their
activities with their partners in front of the class and after that, paste it on their notebook
with some glue.

DATE: WEDNESDAY, MARCH. 15th

ACTIVITIES: Storyteller

ROUTINE: * Read the short story: Our colorful world

*Ask the students make a semicircle sitting on the floor and tell them they will read
together. Show the pages of the story to them to be focused on the title of it. Ask them
question to see if they guess the theme, then start reading page by page illustrating the
main sentences about who this friend is. Check the intonation and invite them to read
aloud together. Ask them to draw the story on their notebooks with simple phrases about
it.

DATE: THURSDAY, MARCH. 16th

ACTIVITIES: My Face

ROUTINE: *The singular and plural forms of the parts of the face

*Take the students to the multimedia lab to watch and listen to the video about the beautiful girl.
Check out if they understand the description.
* Ask them to come back to the classroom to complete some of their workbook part activities to
reinforce their learning.
