BOARD 1. Mount the new H.M.I. on to its designated cut out hole on the control board. 2. Ensure that the power is off, then connect the DC power cables to the HMI 3. Connect the network cable to the network port on the HMI. 4. Ensure that all network cables from the H.M.I. itself, plc & adapter are tightly connected to the Ethernet switch. 5. Switch on the H.M.I. & wait for a few seconds for it to initialize. 6. Log in with any of the following passwords User A 111 User B 555 User C 456 7. The master password will only be used for advanced functions & should not be used at all for normal operations. MASTER USER - *********4646 8. Enter the master password & login. 9. On the home screen on the top left side of date & time there is a hidden button to access configuration settings. 10. Press this button & a pop up screen below will appear 11. Touch on the terminal settings & on the screen that appears touch on network & communications. 12. Then press network connection 13. Press on network adaptors 14. The following screen will appear.
15. Set the following configurations
IP address 192.168.1.15 Subnet mask 255.255.255.0 Gate way 0.0.0.0 16. Press ok to store these settings. Ensure that NO is highlighted 17. Go back to home screen where you can see the terminal setting again & press RESET button. 18. The H.M.I. & plc will reboot & does a cycle test. 19. Check if there is communication between H.M.I, PLC & adapter. You will check for any red Leds. If there are any red Leds this shows that there is no communication, all Leds should be green on the plc & adapter. There should be an orange light on all network cables. 20. To correct this remove all network cables on the Ethernet switch & reinsert them again, however do not reinsert the cable from Kenchic external network. 21. The Ethernet switch will recycle the plc, H.M.I. & adapter & establish a new connection & all Leds will be green meaning there is communication. 22. The following screen will then appear. 23. Reset all errors on the screen. The H.M.I is now ready to operate 24. Switch to manual mode & activate each machine individually. If there are machines that cannot be run via the H.M.I. check the following -Tripped thermal overloads - Switched off M.C.BS - Faulty contactors, overloads, switches etc THE PLC IS NOW READY TO OPERATE!!!!!!!!
