As an example in a given scenario where a Dell Boomi Process uses a
disk connector to read a le but the le location changes from
environment to environment.

If there is no good understanding of extensions by the
implementation team they may have a separate connector for each Custom Software
environment and deploy each connection thereby consuming a Development
license in your Dell Boomi AtomSphere. This will most likely look Data & Analytics

When using the best practices approach for Dell Boomi the disk
connections should only be created once generically and might look
something like this in the Atoms artifact explorer:

The point being there only needs to be one disk Connection that is
con gurable in the process as Extended with con guration values
assigned at the time of deployment or at any time after deployment
during run time.

Lets create a very simple process that uses our Disk1 Connector and
demonstrate how to con gure the same disk connector for three
environments.
