Dear Renji,

How are you? I am doing fine, and I hope that you are too.

I am writing to tell you about the biggest flower in the

world which is the Rafflesia. Based on my reading, Rafflesia
belong to the genus Tetrastigma. Rafflesia is also known as
Corpse Flower because its flower smells like rotting flesh.
Rafflesia can grow up to 95cm (3 feet) across. There are 55
species of Rafflesia, of which 9 species are found in Borneo.

If you want to see Rafflesia, you may visit Tambunan

Rafflesia Reserve and Poring Hot Springs at the Kinabalu
Park. If you are interested to know more about Rafflessia,
you can read it in Rafflesia: Magnificent Flower of Sabah
published by Natural History Publications. I will let you
borrow mine if you want.
