The Continental GT3 is the latest incarnation of a racing
bloodline that reaches back almost a century. In the 1920s,
Bentley was the dominant force in endurance motor racing,
winning five times at Le Mans. Then, in 2003, Bentley came

Timothy Potts
A product of the world-famous Bentley design department,
where he designed the modern interpretation of the Flying
B mascot that sits atop the Bentley Mulsanne, Timothy
Potts is a fine art sculptor who has also worked with many
of the biggest names in the ceramics industry.
In 2009, he participated in the Bentley Art Project, where

Bentley designers created new pieces, each of which was
then auctioned for charity at Bonhams in London. The sale of
Tims sculpture of W.O. Bentley behind the wheel was one
of the highlights of that night.
For the Collection, he has captured three iconic elements

of Bentleys culture: The Flying B, Tim Birkins Dream of
Speed and The Guest of Honour, each one cast in bronze and
mounted on a granite plinth.
