TOURNAMENT RULES
MILO- SELANGOR INTER DISTRICT KABADDI CHAMPIONSHIP 2016

1. GENERAL
Organized by: Kabaddi Association Of Selangor
Hosted by : Kuala Selangor Kabaddi Association
Competition Venue : Kuala Selangor Indoor Stadium
Date : 18.12.2016 (Sunday)
Time : 8.00 am 3.00 pm

2. ELIGIBILITY AND REGISTRATION


2.1 The tournament is open to districts affiliated to Kabaddi Association of Selangor. Each
district can register a team for Men and Women.
2.2 Each team can register 12 players. The weight for men is 80kg and women are 70kg.
2.3 Each district will be charged RM50 as registration fee.
2.4 The organizers reserve the rights to call any team or players to identify them as deemed
necessary.
2.5 A briefing will be held before the start of competition.
2.6 Players or officials serving suspensions imposed by KAS and KAM are not eligible to play in
the tournament.
2.7 The players only allowed to play in their own districts. Any players found playing in other
district, the player or team will be banned from playing in the tournament.

3. RULES AND REGULATIONS


3.1 The tournament would be conducted consistent with the rules and regulations of Asian
Amateur Kabaddi federation. (AAKF)
3.2 Each team would be allowed only one (1) time out in each half of the match.
3.3 All the players must wear numbered jersey and shorts during the match.
4. TOURNAMENT FORMAT
4.1 The team will be divided into two groups. After a round robin league, the top two teams will
qualify for the cross over semi final.
4.2 Two (2) points will be awarded for a win, one (1) points for draw no points for a loss.
4.3 The organizing committee reserves the rights to change the above condition, fixtures or
programme when necessary.

5. DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE
5.1 The Disciplinary Committee and Jury of Appeal members will be appointed by KAS.
5.2 The Disciplinary Committee will be responsible for all the discipline problem of any players
in the game.
5.3 such discipline actions may include suspension or fine.

6.0 PROTEST
6.1 All protest / objections must be submitted in writing using the prescribed KAS protest forms
together with a fee of RM200. The protest must be lodged with organizer not later than ten (10)
minutes after the match.
6.2 The decision of the organizing committee is final. No protest shall be lodged against decision
or points of facts taken by referee during the game.

7.0 OTHER CONDITIONS


7.1 KAS will arrange for umpires for all matches.
7.2 Competitors play at own risk. KAS and sponsors will not be responsible for any personal
injury or loss or any mishaps before, during and after the match.
7.3 Decision of the organizing committee is final in all aspects.
