Your child is enrolled for the 2017-2018 school year at historic Thomas
Jefferson High School and will be part of the special DEMO Family!

Jeffersons motto is A Family of Learning. Whether your child wants to go

to college or be career-ready, our Jefferson family will assist you along the
way as students are expected to meet the A-G requirements (attached.)

The first day of instruction, Tuesday, August 15th (@ 8:00am in the Quad)
is quickly upon us! The following dates have been scheduled to allow for an
efficient transition to the new school year:

On August 8th, we will be hosting an Orientation, and BBQ, for all

incoming 9th Graders from 9:00am- 12:00pm. All paperwork needs to be
completed before August 4th to ensure enrollment prior to the first day of
school. You will also be provided with a FREE PE uniform. If you have not
picked up an enrollment packet, please do so immediately. You can come to
the Enrollment Office from 8:00am until 4:00pm or call 323-521-1204 to
make an appointment.

Textbooks will be distributed the first week of school .

Felicidades! Aprendiendo Juntos
Su hijo/a est inscrito en la Preparatoria Thomas Jefferson para el ao
escolar 2017-2018 y estamos muy contentos de darle bienvenida a su
hijo/a a nuestra familia DEMOCRATA!

El lema de Jefferson es "Una Familia Aprendiendo Juntos." Si su hijo/a

quiere ir a la universidad o estar preparndose para una carrera, le
ayudaremos cumplir con los requisitos A a G (adjunta) para lograr sus
metas.

El primer da de clases es el martes 15 de agosto a las 8:00 de la maana,

se aproxima rpidamente! Las siguientes fechas han sido programadas para permitir
una transicin eficaz al nuevo ao escolar.

El 8 de agosto presentaremos orientacin, y almuerzo, para todos los
estudiantes de 9 grado de 9:00 am a las 12:00 pm. Toda la documentacin
debe ser completada antes del 4 de agosto para garantizar la inscripcin
antes del primer da de clases. Tambin se le proporcionar un uniforme
GRATIS de educacin fsica. Si usted no ha recogido un paquete de
inscripcin por favor, hgalo inmediatamente. Puede venir a la Oficina de
Inscripcin de 8:00 am hasta las 4:00 pm o llame al 323-521-1204 para
hacer una cita.
Los libros de texto se distribuirn la primera semana de clases.
