Installation

Remove the cable harness and cable ties from the sensors and engine electronic control unit.

Remove the servo pipe from the servo pump.

Remove the engine control unit with cooling coil.

Remove the clamps from the fuel lines and air lines.

Note: Plug the fuel connections.

Remove the wiring box from the engine block (applies only to D16E).

Fit the lifting tool. Tighten the lifting tool bolts 88800112 to 80 10 Nm.

Remove the engine with fixture from the overhaul stand.

Remove the fixture from the engine. Fit the bolts into their respective places.

Fit the wiring box to the engine block (applies only to D16E).

Fit cable ties to the fuel lines and air lines.

Install the engine electronic control unit.
Connect the cooling loop with new copper washers to the fuel lines. Torque tighten to the Specifications Group 21.

Fit the servo pipe to the servo pump.

Install the cable harness, plug in the connector at the fuel filter. Install the cable clamps.
