Abstract

This is the design and construction of a finger print based car ignition system

design to secure car ignition system using the finger ID of the car owner. The

manipulation of car key lock system in our country has become a constant

criminal act in our society and this has caused different problems among use

making the environment in secured. So for this reason electronic inventions has

spread more security technic in arresting the insecurity of key lock brakes by

introducing automated designs with high definition security which cannot be

manipulated easily and also can detect intruders while trying to manipulate the

system by triggering the alarm system when finger scanned data cannot be

recognized.

This is a microcontroller based project use to secure a cars ignition system using

the finger print identification system (FIDS), this system works by allowing the

user to insert his finger print system and when scanned if the data obtained is

equal with the stored one then the car battery system will be trigged to

automatically to allow ignition start up for the car to be locomotive.

This system is applied to different car system and can be extended to different

areas of life that needs pure security system etc.
