Summary
Dr. Seybou Diarra has extensive experience in multi-sectorial programs and project management both in the humanitarian
as well as in development fields and has a professional diploma in Humanitarian Health and Nutrition Programming from
the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine and a master in Public Health with Nutritional Policies and State Doctorate of
General Medicine. He is currently serving as Field and Nutrition Manager of Adamawa and North regions in Cameroon for
International Medical Corps (IMC). During the past eight years, he designed and implemented several programs at the
health district and international NGO level with both Save the Children and the International Medical Corps (IMC). He has
a solid knowledge of the humanitarian field, donor rules as well as the United Nations system. He was the emergency
nutrition advisor counterpart, school health and nutrition manager and acting field manager with Save the Children
International in Mali. Previously, he worked with the Ministry of Health (MOH) as a technical assistant and the deputy
head of health district to the Regional Health Office in the Sgou region of Mali. One of his best achievements is
conceiving and implementing a multi-institutional program (Harvard University, London School of Hygiene and Tropical
Medicine, NIPHR (National Institute of Public health Research), National Malaria Control Program (NMCP), Save the
Children) on malaria in schools in the Sikasso region of Mali from 2010-2012.
