The Sevenfold Avenging of the Blood of the Redeemed

is the seven bowls of wrath poured out in Revelation chapter 16

It’s quite amazing what the meanings of names add to the understanding and significance of different passages in the Word of
God. Sometimes they reinforce what is being stated in a straight forward reading of the Word and other times they bring a
whole new dynamic and reveal a great deal more. Such is the case here in the account of Cain and Abel. The straight forward,
face value is Cain kills Abel, the bad guy kills the good guy. But when we look at the meanings of the names we see a transition
occurring. Abel means ‘breath, vanity, worthless’. It’s a picture of the flesh. Cain means ‘to buy, possess or redeem’. In the line
of Cain the meanings reveal a picture of Jesus. This line of Cain, also, reflects the flesh in that it is seven generations and we
never hear of it again in scripture. The meanings of the names in the line of Seth, again, give a picture of Jesus. But the line of
Seth ends with Noah ’rest’ and he and his family get into the ark and are transported to a fresh, clean earth. We, too, at the end
of time as we know it, when we get into our ark, Christ Jesus, entering into His rest, will be transported into a clean, pristine
earth, the New Jerusalem where there is nothing there that defiles, nor works abomination, nor makes a lie for the former things
will have passed away. This line of Seth represents Jesus, the Resurrection and the Life, that life of the Spirit. The transition
continues in that some of the bad guys become good guys, which we know as salvation. Once the bad guy becomes a good
guy he begins to kill the bad guy – the spirit man is no longer a slave to sin according to Romans and the sprit man overcomes
or slays the works of the flesh.
The sevenfold avenging of the blood of the redeemed and the seventy-sevenfold avenging of the blood of the Redeemer will
springboard from Genesis 4:23,24. Cain we will refer to as ‘the redeemed’ when face value doesn’t make much sense because
Cain means ‘to buy, possess or redeem. Those that are the Lord’s have been bought with a very precious price, the shed blood
of Christ Jesus, and are the possession of the Lord, the redeemed.

Genesis 4: King James Version
9 And the LORD said unto CainH7014 'possession, redeem' > redeemed,
Where is Abel thy brother?
And he said,
I know not: Am I my brother's keeper?
10 And he said,
What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground.
11 And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth
to receive thy brother's blood from thy hand;
12 When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength;
a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth.
13 And Cain said unto the LORD,
My punishment is greater than I can bear.

1
Genesis 4:
14 Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth;
and from thy face shall I be hid;
and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass,
that every one that findeth me shall slay me.
15 And the LORD said unto him,
Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain 'the redeemed',
vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold.
And the LORD set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.
16 And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.
17 And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city,
after the name of his son, Enoch.
18 And unto Enoch was born Irad: and Irad begat Mehujael: and Mehujael begat Methusael:
and Methusael begat Lamech.
19 And Lamech took unto him two wives:
the name of the one was Adah, and the name of the other Zillah.
20 And Adah bare Jabal: he was the father of such as dwell in tents, and of such as have cattle.
21 And his brother's name was Jubal: he was the father of all such as handle the harp and organ.
22 And Zillah, she also bare Tubalcain, an instructer of every artificer in brass and iron:
and the sister of Tubalcain was Naamah.
23 And Lamech said unto his wives, Adah and Zillah,
Hear my voice; ye wives of Lamech, hearken unto my speech:
for I have slain a man to my wounding petsa 'bruised',
and a young man to my hurt chabburah 'striped'. [Isa 53:5]
The only perspective that makes any sense here with this statement is that of the Father's of slaying His Son, Jesus. There’s
no record or account given here for this statement to make sense except when we look at the meanings of the names.
24 If Cain 'purchase, buy, redeem' > 'the redeemed', shall be avenged sevenfold,
truly Lamech 'powerful’, >'The redeemer', seventy and sevenfold.
25 And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth:
For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.
26 And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos:
then began men to call upon the name of the LORD.
We will now follow the thread of the blood of the redeemed as it is woven throughout the scriptures.
Genesis 9: Life in the Blood
4 But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.
5 And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it,
and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man's brother will I require the life of man.
6 Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.
Deuteronomy 32:
39 See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me:

I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.
40 For I lift up my hand to heaven, and say, I live for ever.
41 If I whet my glittering sword, and mine hand take hold on judgment;

I will render vengeance to mine enemies, and will reward them that hate me.

2
Deuteronomy 32:
42 I will make mine arrows drunk with blood, and my sword shall devour flesh;

and that with the blood of the slain and of the captives, from the beginning of revenges upon the enemy. [Rev 19:19-21]
43 Rejoice, O ye nations, with his people: for he will avenge the blood of his servants,

and will render vengeance to his adversaries, and will be merciful unto his land, and to his people.
Psalm 72:
11 Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him.
12 For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper.
13 He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the needy.
14 He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence:

and precious shall their blood be in his sight.

Psalm 79:
1 A Psalm of Asaph. O God,
the heathen are come into thine inheritance; thy holy temple have they defiled;
they have laid Jerusalem on heaps.
2 The dead bodies of thy servants have they given to be meat unto the fowls of the heaven,
the flesh of thy saints unto the beasts of the earth.
3 Their blood have they shed like water round about Jerusalem; and there was none to bury them.
10 Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is their God?

let him be known among the heathen in our sight

by the revenging of the blood of thy servants which is shed.
11 Let the sighing of the prisoner come before thee;

according to the greatness of thy power preserve thou those that are appointed to die;
12 And render unto our neighbours sevenfold into their bosom their reproach,

wherewith they have reproached thee, O Lord.

Psalm 102:
A Prayer of the afflicted, when he is overwhelmed, and poureth out his complaint before the LORD.
19 For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did the LORD behold the earth;
20 To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death;
21 To declare the name of the LORD in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem;
22 When the people are gathered together, and the kingdoms, to serve the LORD.

Psalm 116:
15 Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.

Lamentations 4:
12 The kings of the earth, and all the inhabitants of the world, would not have believed that the adversary and the enemy
should have entered into the gates of Jerusalem.
13 For the sins of her prophets, and the iniquities of her priests, that have shed the blood of the just in the midst of her,
14 They have wandered as blind men in the streets, they have polluted themselves with blood, so that men could not touch
their garments.
Matthew 23:
27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!

for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward,
but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.
28 Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.
29 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!

because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous,

3
Matthew 23:
30 And say,

If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers
with them in the blood of the prophets.
31 Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.
32 Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.
33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes:
34 and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues,

and persecute them from city to city:

35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel

unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.
36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.
37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee,

how often would I have gathered thy children together,

even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!
38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.
39 For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say,

Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

Matthew 24: 7th Trumpet
32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree;

When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking,

marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away;

so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be takenG3880, and the other left G863.
41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be takenG3880, and the other left G863.

There are two groups of saints at this 7th Trumpet period. Those that are ‘appointed to death’, the martyrs that are taken out at
the reaping of the harvest of the earth in Rev 14:14-16. These passages that speak of ‘one taken and the other left’ are
referring to the martyrs that are beheaded for not worshipping the beast in Rev 14. They are conformed to his image and are
willing to follow Christ through death. The other group are those that Paul referred to as ‘those that are alive and remain’. They
will not see death, but will be changed, having endured to the end, and are called out in Rev 18:4 just like Christ stated.
Christ is preparing to 'take' a bride!
'...one taken the other left.', Luke 17:34-36. The question is asked, 'Where, Lord?'. Who is taken unto the Lord for a companion
and who is left? We need to look at two more verses to fully understand this. The second, verse 33, 'whosoever shall seek to
save his life shall lose it, whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.' And verse 37, 'Wheresoever the body/carcase/corpse

4
is, thither so ever will the eagles be gathered.' The key to full understanding is in Job 39: 30, ...eagles eat the flesh and drink
the blood of the slain. In Rev 14:16 ...'the harvest of the earth is reaped'. We're looking for dead bodies/martyrs and masses of
them. The word harvest refers to the souls that have been conformed to the image of Christ. Phil 2:8...'became obedient unto
death, even the death of the cross'. Scripture speaks of the 'remnant' in chapter 12:11 thusly. " And they overcame him [devil]
by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death." Prior to the harvest
in Rev 14:16, we read what will happen to those who worship the beast, the patience of the saints is declared, followed by this
blessing, 'And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth:
Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.' We see those that have gotten the
victory over the beast in Chapter 15:2, just 14 verses after the warning. Between the warning in verses 14:9-11 and 15:2 we
must find the victors, when they overcome and how they overcome. Mark 4: 29 But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately
he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come. Rev 20:4 gives us one more piece of information about those that get the
victory over the beast. 4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of
them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither
his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a
thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
The harvest is a huge number of martyrs that are beheaded and find themselves on the sea of glass in heaven having the
victory over the beast and his image, his mark, and the number of his name. The second reaping in chapter 14, the tares, is of
the ‘clusters of the vine of the earth’ and are cast into the winepress of the wrath of God, which is trod by Christ at the Wedding
Supper. (Rev 14:19, 19:15) The reaping of the tares is before those that are 'alive and remain' and are called out in Rev 18:4.
The two groups, martyrs and those which are 'alive and remain' are both with the Lord when He comes to the Wedding Supper
accompanied with His 'army', 'clothed in fine linen, white and clean. (1Th 3:13)
Luke 17:
22 And he said unto the disciples,

The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it.
23 And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them.
24 For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven,
24 shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.
25 But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.
26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage,

until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
31 In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house,

let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.
32 Remember Lot's wife.
33 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; John 12:25 He that loveth his life shall lose it, and he that
and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it. hateth his life in this world shall save it unto eternal life.
34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be takenG3880, and the other shall be leftG863.
35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken G3880, and the other left G863.
36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken G3880, and the other left G863.
37 And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord?

And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body/carcase/corpse (Matt 24:28) is,
thither will the eagles be gathered together. * [Job 39:30; Rev 14:16]

Hebrews 11:
32 And what shall I more say?

for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae;
of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets:
33 Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,
34 Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong,

waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.

35 Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured,

not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:

36 And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:
37 They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword:

they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented;
38 (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains,

and in dens and caves of the earth.

39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:
40 God having provided some better thing for us,

that they without us should not be made perfect.

Revelation 2: Letter to the Church at Smyrna
10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison,

that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death,
and I will give thee a crown of life.
11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches;

He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death. [Lake of Fire - Rev 20:14]
Revelation 6: Same group as Rev 19:2
9 And when he had opened the fifth seal,
I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God,
and for the testimony which they held:
10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying,

How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood
on them that dwell on the earth? Same group in Rev 19:2'...for he hath judged... and avenged...'
11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them,

that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren,
that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
Revelation 11: 7th Trumpet
15 And the SEVENTH ANGEL SOUNDED;

and there were great voices in heaven, saying,

The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ;
and he shall reign for ever and ever.
16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats,

fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,

17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come;

because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.
18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come,
and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward

6
Revelation 11: 7th Trumpet
18 unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great;
and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament:

and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.
Revelation 14:
1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion,
and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.
2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters,
and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:
3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders:
and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.
4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins.
These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth.
These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. [Exo 13:2,15; Lev 27:28,29]
5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.
Warning
9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice,
If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation;
and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night,
who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
Patience of the Saints
12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

Blessing
13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write,

Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth:
Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
Earth Reaped
14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud,

and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.
15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud,

Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap;
for the harvest (martyrs) of the earth is ripe. (Last saint’s blood shed on earth.)
16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.

[These are the redeemed that would NOT worship the beast and were slain (beheaded Rev 20:4). Six verses later we see
these that have gotten the victory over the beast, his image and his mark. Notice where they are. They are on the sea of glass
in heaven, which is before the throne. (Sea of Glass Rev 4:6) In 2Ki 7:39,44 we see ‘the Sea’, a huge laver for the priests to
wash in at Solomon's temple, approx. diameter 14' x 7' deep. The victors, standing on the sea of glass’, are now and eternally
are priests of God. Rev 20:6 confirms this. 4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them:
and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not
worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived
and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This
is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no
power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Revelation 15:
1 And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues;

for in them is filled up the wrath of God.

2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast,

and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.
Revelation 16:
The Vials of Wrath are the sevenfold avenging of the blood of the saints and prophets / 'the redeemed'.
1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels,
Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.
2 And the FIRST went, and poured out his VIAL upon the earth;
and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men [sore Exo 9:9-11]
which HAD the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.
3 And the SECOND angel poured out his VIAL upon the sea;
and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.
4 And the THIRD angel poured out his VIAL upon the rivers and fountains of waters;
and they became blood. [rivers Exo 7:19-25]
5 And I heard the angel of the waters say,
Thou art righteous, O Lord,
which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus.
6 For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets,
and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.
7 And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.
8 And the FOURTH angel poured out his VIAL upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.
9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God,
which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.

8
Revelation 16:
10 And the FIFTH angel poured out his VIAL upon the seat of the beast;

and his kingdom was full of darkness; [darkness Exo 10:21-23]

and they gnawed their tongues for pain,
11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores,

and repented not of their deeds.

12 And the SIXTH angel poured out his VIAL upon the great river Euphrates;
and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.
13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs [frogs Exo 8:1-14]
come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast,
and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles,
which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle
of that great day of God Almighty.
15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments,
lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.
17 And the SEVENTH angel poured out his VIAL into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven,
from the throne, saying, IT IS DONE.
18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake,
such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.

19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon
came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.
20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.
21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent:
and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; [hail Exo:918-26]
for the plague thereof was exceeding great.
Revelation 17:
3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast,
full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls,
having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
5 And upon her forehead was a name written,
MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus:
and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.
Revelation 18:
20 Rejoice over her [the Whore], thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.
21 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying,

Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.
22 And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters,
shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be,
shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;
23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and
of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee:
for thy MERCHANTS were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.
24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.

Revelation 19: Same group as Rev 6:9-11
1 And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying,
Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God:
2 For true and righteous are his judgments:
for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication,
and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.
Revelation 20:
1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit
and a great chain in his hand.
2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan,
and bound him a thousand years,
3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him,
that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled:
and after that he must be loosed a little season.
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them:
and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God,
and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads,
or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

The order of the book of Revelation can be much better understood when we realize that the ‘Bowls of Wrath’ poured out in
the16th chapter is the Sevenfold Avenging of the ‘Blood of the REDEEMED’. The last saints that are slain on the earth are those
martyred because they would not worship the Beast, at the reaping of the ‘harvest’ of the earth in chapter 14:14-16. The only
interval is the giving of the vials to the angels that will pour them out. The avenging of the Martyr’s blood is immediate in chapter
16. Those ‘that are alive and remain’ are called out, then, in chapter 18:4. These won’t see death, but will be changed as Paul
states. The ‘Marriage Supper’, chapter 19, is the ‘Day of the Lord’, ‘day of His wrath’, ‘day of His fierce anger’ and the Seventy
and sevenfold Avenging of the ‘Blood of the REDEEMER’ with the treading of the winepress (vs 15). This we see originally
referenced in Genesis 4:24. If the blood of the redeemed is so precious to the Father to be avenged sevenfold, how much more
the avenging of the blood of His Son, the Redeemer of seventy and sevenfold. See that study.
23 And Lamech said unto his wives, Adah and Zillah,
Hear my voice; ye wives of Lamech, hearken unto my speech:
for I have slain a man to my wounding petsa 'bruised',
and a young man to my hurt chabburah 'striped'. [Isa 53:5 the ‘suffering servant’]
The only perspective that makes any sense here with this statement is that of the Father's of slaying His Son, Jesus.
24 If Cain 'purchase, buy, redeem' > 'the redeemed' shall be avenged sevenfold,
truly Lamech 'powerful, >'The Redeemer' seventy and sevenfold.

See also, the study ‘The Seventy - Sevenfold Avenging of the Blood of the Redeemer’ for those details.
