LEARNING OBJECTIVES At the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:
a. read and complete blanks on Sabah.
b. match words to the correct meanings.
SUCCESS CRITERIA a. Able to read and complete at least 4 blanks on Sabah.
b. Able to match at least 3 words to the correct meanings.
LESSON OUTLINE: 1. Teacher informs pupils of the Learning Objectives.

SET INDUCTION ACTIVITY 1 : Brainstormer


1. Teacher shows a brochure of Sabah to the class.
2. Teacher asks pupils to think what is the content of this brochure within 3 minutes.
3. Whole class discussion about the brochure.

MAIN ACTIVITIES ACTIVITY 2: Think-Pair-Share


1. Pupils are asked to read the brochure on page 74.
2. In each group, pupils are asked to read and discuss the information given in the brochure.
3. Pupils complete a tree map using information from the brochure. A few pupils are called out to read
their answers.
ACTIVITY 3 : Presentation
1. Teacher distributes words and phrases to the pupils.
2. Pupils discuss the meanings of the words by matching them to the phrases .
3. Pupils present their answers in groups.
CLOSURE ACTIVITY 4 : Quiz
1. Reflection
2. Pupils answer 5 questions on Sabah.
3. Teacher collects pupils quiz sheets.
