About this e-book

This e-book is meant to help you better

understand why some Paid to Click (PTC)
websites quit paying their members after
a certain period of time.

In this e-book, I explain every reason a

PTC website I have been a member at has
quit paying, and other reasons that I
believe (but not 100% sure) some PTC
websites have quit paying.
6
About this e-book (cont.)

This e-book is split into 4 different

categories that describe why a Paid to
Click Website may fail.

1) Bad Business Tactics

2) Legal Issues
3) Business Problems
4) Personal Problems

Lets get right to it...

7
1.
Bad Business Tactics

8
The Owner's intention is to Scam

Depending on how long you have been

clicking at PTC websites, you will already
know this one.

Almost anyone can create a PTC website

with enough money and research, and
that gives an opportunity for some to
start a PTC website and close it at
anytime.

9
The Owner's intention is to Scam
(cont.)
This is the way I see it happening:

1 They start the website.

2 They hope people will deposit and buy

Rented Referrals.

3 They will usually pay some back, but

once they get enough, they quit paying.

4 Unless you file a dispute, your out of

luck.

10
The Owner's intention is to Scam
(cont.)
I do not and will never support these
people.

To be honest, I do not even join most new

PTC websites because I know how fast
they can quit paying. Keep reading this
guide and you will see exactly what I
mean.

11
Self-Sponsored Advertisements

A self-sponsored advertisement (SSA) is

an advertisement paid for by the owner of
the website. They are shown on a daily
basis and the price will vary for each PTC
website.

Technically, SSA will not make the PTC

website fail. Everyone who clicks the SSA
will not reach the minimum cash-out
limit. That is what I assume the owner
hopes for. 12
Self-Sponsored Advertisements
(cont.)
SSA are basically mandatory for all PTC
websites. If a PTC website has no
advertisements for you to click, why
waste time there?

If the minimum cash-out limit was $0.50

and the owner has 4 SSA, it would only
take you 13 days to reach the cash-out
limit. The business (PTC website) will fail
very quickly and lose money.
13
Self-Sponsored Advertisements
(cont.)
Depending on what the PTC websites
SSA are, will change everything.

If you look at what ClixSense and Neobux

SSA are, EmpireMoney, they have the
chance to earn a lot from commissions if
you sign up and deposit money there.

Which brings me to the next reason why a

PTC website may fail...

14
Promoting other PTC websites
Yes, if a PTC website is promoting other
PTC websites through their
Self-Sponsored advertisements, they may
lose money.

Members who join a new PTC website are

most likely (NOT ALWAYS) already a
member of the old PTC websites they may
be promoting, and if all their members
are already signed up to what they are
promoting, they are wasting their money.
15
1 Person trying to do everything

I can run my websites by myself, but my

websites are not PTC websites.

From my experience, it takes a TEAM to

run a PTC website successfully.

1 person can not handle the support,

manage the forum, send payments out
(multiple processors), fix any issues that
members have by themselves. I am sure
there are more tasks, but you get the
point. It takes a TEAM. 16
Bad money management
Some people just do not know how to
properly handle money when they receive
it. Especially, if they have never had as
much as being an owner of a PTC website
can possibly earn them.

When they launch a new PTC website,

people will deposit if they feel they can
trust you. Owners need to properly
handle this money, and keep from
spending it on anything that is not...
17
Bad money management (cont.)

a business expense. If the owner offers

Rented Referrals, the PTC website may
eventually have to pay the member when
the RR earn enough money.

Even when someone purchases an

advertisement, the advertiser is paying a
member a certain amount of money. The
PTC website is only the middle-man.
The owner needs to understand and make
that a priority. 18
Not implementing Offer Walls

I call them offer walls, but they may have

another name.

Offer Wall websites allow PTC website

owners to implement their service, with
their offers, for the PTC website members
to complete and earn money from.

That means the PTC website owner is

adding another way for members to earn.
The PTC website owner will be the
middle-middle-man. 19
Not implementing Offer Walls (cont.)

It works like this:

The offer wall website has plenty of offers
for people to complete and earn money
for doing so. Advertisers are paying the
offer wall. The offer wall is a middle man
by itself. The offer wall allows PTC
website owners to become a middle man
and earn a percentage of every offer that
a member of the PTC website completes.
If a PTC website does not have this
implemented, they are missing out on
extra money.
20
Price of advertising is wrong

I have seen this way too many times. For

some reason, new PTC websites seem to
think that their advertising is SO
SPECIAL compared to all other PTC
websites. That is NOT true.

I personally believe that $1.00 for 1,000

views (roughly 3-10 seconds) is fair.

Some new PTC websites will have it at

about $3.00 for 1,000 views for the same
time. That is what I consider a rip-off. 21
2.
Legal Issues

22
Lawsuit

This is something that no one wants to

deal with. A lawsuit from anyone.

I have personally only heard of one

website facing a lawsuit. I am not going
to say what website it was, but the owner
is accused of running a Ponzi Scheme.

I do not consider a PTC website a ponzi

scheme, but when websites offer revenue
shares, it does become a little sketchy.
23
Copyright infringement
I have personally never heard of a website
facing a copyright infringement lawsuit,
but I have seen a few websites that
possibly could have.

If anyone uses another company's name

or logo, they face that risk.

I have seen some websites using

Facebooks logo and YouTubes logo.

That is copyright infringement and you

should never join a website like that. 24
Not paying taxes
If a PTC website accepts payments and
does not pay taxes, that is considered
Money Laundering where I am from, and
is highly illegal.

Owners will not usually discuss this, so

you will not know if they are paying taxes
or not.

When their government finds out, they

will most likely quit paying and become a
scam. 25
Not being an actual business

Most countries require anyone who

accepts payments to be registered as an
actual business.

Some PTC websites are and are not

registered.
I am not an expert at this, but some will
show that they are registered as an actual
business. That does not make them
immune from not paying their members
in the future.
26
3.
Personal Problems

27
Lost trust from members

It only takes one mistake to lose trust

from members.

Lets say, someone did research and

found out that a PTC website owner has
previously owned other PTC websites
that have failed. I wouldnt trust that
owner, and neither should you. Owners
must gain trust from their members and
advertisers, or they are destined to fail.
28
Owner lost hope and motivation

After a certain period of time doing the

same thing over and over again, it WILL
get boring. Some people just lose hope
over time and decide to quit.

It is probably stressful as a PTC website

owner (dont know for sure).

Especially, if they are not making enough

money. That would make me lose hope
and motivation.
29
Health and Family Issues

No one is perfect. Sometimes people do

have health and family issues that
requires them to give up working. Even if
working is running a PTC website.

I wouldnt get frustrated over this issue,

because things happen that we can not
control.

30
4.
Business Problems

31
Payment processor limitation

A payment processor limitation is

probably (not 100% sure) the number 1
reason a new PTC website quits paying
their members.

A lot of new PTC websites will have

PayPal as a payment processor. Before
they launch they will most likely not have
many transactions in the account.

32
Payment processor limitation (cont.)
After they launch, they can have
thousands of transactions in a matter of
days or weeks.

That may catch the eye of the payment

processor if they have not alerted them.

They may limit the account and check for

suspicious activity.

It they permanently limit the account, 9

times out of 10, that PTC website will quit
paying. 33
Not enough Members
A Paid to Click website needs to have
plenty of members and advertisers to be
sustainable, and profitable.

Members are the ones who are earning

from clicking the advertisements and
completing other tasks. Members will
also purchase Rented Referrals as well,
which can be more revenue.

Without members, no one will want to

advertise on that PTC website. 34
Not enough Advertisers

Advertisers are members, but they are the

ones who are displaying their websites to
all the other members.

The advertiser is paying the members to

view their offer and the PTC website is
the middle-man making it possible.

The PTC website will usually keep a small

percentage to ensure stability.

35
Hosting is too expensive

I honestly do not know how much it costs

to host a PTC website, but it can not be
cheap.

Especially, if 100,000+ members visit

daily and spend a certain amount of time
on their website daily.

If the PTC website is not making enough

profit to cover the hosting expenses, it
will not last.
36
Overall look of the PTC website
How many ugly PTC websites are you a
member of? You know the ones I am
referring to.

Some PTC website designs look like a 2

year old could have designed them.

If they did not spend enough time or

money on the look of their website, do
you think they will last that long?

They are most likely interested in quick

money. 37
Loss of Revenue
I personally do not know how PTC
websites manage their money, but for an
example, lets say they decided to
invest their money in a revenue sharing
website.

That is probably not what any PTC

website owner does, but who knows?

What happens when that revenue sharing

website quits paying? The PTC website
owner loses money. 38
Loss of Revenue (cont.)
A loss of revenue can even be from an
Advertising Network.

I know I lost a huge chunk of my revenue

for The PTC Place when Google Adsense
disabled my account.

The PTC Place is not a PTC website, so it

did not affect me as much as it would a
PTC website owner losing a huge chunk
of revenue from anything.

39
Loss of data

I have only seen this happen one time,

and that is why it is included in this
e-book.

The PTC website went haywire and the

data was temporary erased.

Luckily that particular website owner was

able to fix the issue, but not all will be
able to.

40
Website hacked

Yes, there are people (idiots) that try and

sometimes succeed to hack into websites.

If this happens to any PTC website, it will

not be a good thing. Hackers can steal
information and a do a lot of damage.

If a hacker were to cause a lot of damage

to the PTC website and the data, I do not
know how they can overcome that
obstacle.
41
Bank Issues

This is something a website owner will

most likely never tell their members
about, but they could.

People sometimes have bank issues that

can prevent them from being paid, and
paying their members.

42
Website host cancels

For whatever reason it may be, the

hosting company a PTC website is using
may cancel them from using their service.

If that happens, the PTC website will not

load.

The owner will need to find a new hosting

service, or the website will not be back.
