Her teaching position included two classes of seventh grade English, two classes of seventh grade science, and one class of eighth grade science, totaling 157 students. Erin began her day promptly at 7:00A.M. daily, even though she was not required to be present until 7:45, just one of the many ways she went above and beyond during her student teaching experience. Erin always demonstrated dedication for her career in teaching. She tutored before and after school, ran “homework club” every other Monday, helped set up and run the school store, attended dances and athletic events after school, stayed late for a band concert, and participated in the First AMS Chili Cook Off. Erin is innovative and creative in her teaching, always planning fun and interesting activities for her students. Erin uses the entire hour to constantly challenge and set the bar high for her students, always pulling information from their middle school minds. She makes learning enjoyable each and every day. Erin is talented and has a “knack” for the classroom. She is constantly aware of her surroundings and each student’s needs. Erin is a quick learner, coachable, and very orgar tthas been my pleasure and honor to share my classroom with Erin. She is a fabulous teacher, one any ‘schoo! would jump to hire.
