1. How to fix a computer if it is on but everything on the
screen is frozen and the keyboard and mouse are
not responding?

-desktop stops responding but everything


else works fine it does not happen at any
particular time or after using any program in
particular the funny thing is that to get them
working again I have to log out and then log
on again during the log off

2. The Blue screen has appeared

- is an error screen displayed on


a Windows computer system after a fatal
system error, also known as a system crash:
when the operating system reaches a
condition where it can no longer operate
safely.

3. The computer is on, but there is no sound

- by cables that aren't connected properly,


damaged drivers, incompatible drivers, sound
settings, missing updates, and problems with
your sound card
4. The computer is on, but the keyboard doesnt work

- the keyboard cuts out entirely. While this


can be a hassle, particularly when you have
work due, there are a few things you can try
yourself to get back to the job at hand.

5. Not enough hard drive space

- This error is caused due to the destination


hard drive running a FAT32 File System. This File
System is recognized by most computer
operating systems, but has a 4 GB file transfer
and creation limitation. This means that files
cannot be created or transferred to the hard
drive if the file or group of files are larger than
4GB.

- it means the program is interacting more


slowly than usual with Windows, typically

program. If the problem is temporary, and if
you choose to wait, some programs will start
responding again. Depending on the options
available, you can also choose to close or
restart the program.

-Computer viruses are small software


programs that are designed to spread from
one computer to another and to interfere with
computer operation.

10. No display in the monitor

- it could be the mobo died, or the monitor


died.

11. Computer running slowly


-If you have an antivirus scanner on the
computer, spyware protection program, or
another security utility, make sure it is not
scanning your computer in the background. If
a scan is in progress, it can decrease the
overall performance of your computer. If this is
the case, allow the scan to complete, and the
computer's performance should improve.

12. Missing is lost sound in windows

- Sound problems can be caused by cables that


aren't connected properly, damaged drivers,
incompatible drivers, sound settings, missing updates,
and problems with your sound card.

13. Mouse not being detected or working on windows

-Make sure the computer is not by pressing the Num


Lock key on the keyboard. When Num Lock is pressed
repeatedly, the Num Lock indicator LED on your
keyboard should turn on and off.

14. Printer not working

-There are all sorts of reasons a printer might


stop working and all of them bring a bit of
frustration. Trying to work out where the paper
