Comments
Part A: You have generated a good range of ideas covering both subject areas although general capabilities and cross curriculum
links are not evident. Your map is organised and easy to read.

Part B: The focus of this unit is what are impacts of Olympic games on host cities? This is an interesting focus to take and you
have designed a range of engaging activities for students. The conceptual links between most them, which will enable students to
answer this question, are clear - it is not obvious how the History and the Dance activities relate to this. You have used the
template supplied for the integrated unit - remember to delete any instructions or guidelines for using the template when you
have completed the different sections.

Part C: Lejla, you have justified the basis for this unit of work showing how it is educationally sound and appropriate for Year 6
students. The information that you included in the table would have been more effective as part of your writing, so that you were
expressing your opinion and supported your discussion with evidence form your reading and examples from the unit of work. You
have shown evidence of your reading of academic literature in your response. Some of the references were not cited in your
writing - Beane, Burnett, Hattam, Lake, James.
