LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (LMS)
With the phenomenal growth of information, increased student diversity, new learning theories and ready
access to the internet, today's teachers are being presented with an opportunity to transform the learning in
their classrooms from a traditional transmission model to a student-centered model. In order to do this, we
need to adopt a student-centered approach where students can become adept at nding, analyzing,
organizing, evaluating, internalizing and presenting new information Learning Management System (LMS)
can provide unprecedented opportunities for this. At their best, computers can support knowledge
construction, learning-by-doing, by conversing and by reecting but managing all this in a student-centered
environment is a complex task that might be made more manageable by the implementation of a LMS.
Our Learning Management System (LMS) automates many of the processes associated with e-learning. It is
a management software package enabling the delivery of learning content, resources and activities and also
handles the associated administration tasks. The LMS (Learning Management System) is the online system

The very rst positive point about the online education system is that there is no expenditure of time and
money on commuting. As all the studies are done sitting back home so you save a handful on the modes of
travelling. It is seen in classrooms that not all people can grasp on equal pace. Some people are slow learners
where as some are very quick. In such a case slow learners lag behind and lose all hope. It is an advantage of
the system of online studies that everyone can learn and form their own pace. They can plan their pattern and
system. So it makes it very comfortable for such individuals.
Online studies are good for one obvious reason. That being, it is ubiquitous. It means that you can sit in any
corner of the world and study whatever you want to. They are no bars as to the place of study.
Apart from learning what you have opted for, that is the course you have taken up; alongside you get to learn
