welcome from the

superintendent
Dear residents of the Webster Groves
School District:
It’s my pleasure to present this latest issue
of the Webster Groves School District Directory,
published in cooperation with the Webster-
Kirkwood Times.
New patients
This year’s booklet contains the 2010-2011
school calendar, profiles of our schools,
are always
descriptions of special programs, telephone numbers and other
important information. We’ve tried to include as much information welcome!
Special discount
as possible in this format and hope that you find it useful. We have
much to celebrate in the Webster Groves School District this year:
rising standardized test scores, small class sizes, an outstanding staff,
scores of academic, arts and athletic awards, more than $14.9
million in scholarships awarded to the class of 2010 and the exciting
for all faculty
opportunity to renovate and expand our treasured high school,
thanks to passage of Proposition W last April.
and staff!
I’d like to thank the Times for producing this directory as well as
all of the local businesses that support this endeavor by purchasing
ads. I’d also like to thank the school community for its strong
support of this district by passing Propositions S and W in April.
We’re grateful for this vote of confidence and committed to being
Joseph S. Grimaud, D.D.S
good stewards of our community resources. We’re look forward to 8537 Watson Road St. Louis, MO 63119
another great school year!

the webster grOves farmers market.
“Being new to the world of Farmers Markets, it was very important to establish a distinct
identity that would capture attention and be easily recognizable. Werremeyer established
a logo for the Farmers Market that has created a very enthusiastic response from
everyone who sees it. They then designed and produced business cards, postcards,
posters, street banners and a Website that helped propel our start-up Farmers Market into
a strong position for attracting growers/vendors and maintaining steady market attendance.
We appreciate their creativity, responsiveness, community spirit and professionalism.
Everyone in need of high quality graphic and media assistance should consider how
important these visual and conceptual steps can be to a successful venture.”

contact lenses or are there other options? 314 . 842 . 5070
Answer: Dr. Gaines and patient VSP accepted
For kids, ages 8 and up. involved in competitive sports, dance or theater, soft daily disposable lenses are a
great solution when glasses get in the way. There is no need to clean and disinfect the contact lenses since they
are worn for one day and discarded. Because the contact lenses are always new, they are very comfortable.
Not only are daily disposable contact lenses easy to use, they are regarded as the safest type of contact lens
available. There is no cost for contact lens solutions, so they are very affordable.
Daily disposable contact lenses are a good alternative to glasses, when needed. They can increase a child’s
confidence, leading to better performance on the field or on the stage. If your child is
not ready for contact lenses, another popular option is prescription sports goggles.
Summer is a great time to begin contact lens wear before practice begins and
school resumes. We specialize in fitting children, tweens and teens for contact
lenses. Call us today for a consultation.
