Re: 5 Lettes
For this assignment, I was able to take my creativity and make up scenarios based on what you
have given. The assignment itself was very enjoyable as it not only let me expand my own ideas
and ways of writing but it also helped me practice my letter writing skills. Growing up I didnt
have to write many letters considering the technological advances that have occurred
throughout the years. Yet, now that I am older I find myself writing more and more letters for
jobs, to the university, etc. and this assignment not only forced me to strengthen my letter
writing skills but it also helped me mature in a sense. This assignment was not as bad as I
thought it would be yet I would have enjoyed more practice with writing letters and identifying
bad and inappropriate letters. You should keep this assignment because its not only developing
ones writing skills but it is also developing ones life skills. Writing letters can be part your
everyday adult life and unfortunately not everyone knows how to write a letter properly. This

DALLAS GRACE MEMORIAL HOSPITAL
I have been Nurse Roberts supervisor for a little over four years and he
has never disappointed. At Dallas Grace Memorial Hospital we set a very
high standard that our staff must oblige to and Nurse Roberts is
exceptional at exceeding the standards. He attends to his patients every
need as well as works extremely well with the other nurses and doctors on
staff. Roberts is a selfless person as he has put in countless of hours and
days into his work and patients in order to make sure that everything runs
smoothly and in order. His pediatric skills are phenomenal and are the best
I have seen in my fourteen years at Grace Memorial. He is very detail-
oriented, well organized, and his demeanor has always brightened his
patients days. There have been multiple occasions where patients have
come to me to give Nurse Robert praise for his hard work and dedication.
After spending four years with Jack Roberts, I must say his dedication to
his job is superior. He is open minded, flexible, determined, and most of
all, he gives 100% effort in making sure his patients are well taken care of
and comfortable. If I were given the chance I would hire Roberts again
without a second thought. He will thrive in your program in more ways
than one and I believe he will be an exceptional nurse on your staff.

My girlfriend and I are both personal trainers and we have decided to relocate our
family from Dallas to DeKalb to be closer to both of our families as well as my
girlfriend will be attending Northern Illinois Universitys graduate school in the fall.
We are looking for a nice, spacious apartment for our family of five and after
reviewing ever apartment complex in DeKalb, your facilities seems like the best fit
for us. It is a plus that your complex comes with a pool as well as every unit has high
speed internet and cable.

It has come to my attention that there has been an increase of violent behavior
amongst junior high school students. I have been working in the 3rd District for about
six years now and have now noticed the uncouth and very violent behavior amongst
the students. I have talked to other teachers and staff and the issue is not only at our
After consulting with the principal, she has given me permission to pursue creating a
prevention/coping program for children and young teens . As the crime rate increases
in our neighborhoods, our schools should become safe spots and sanctuaries that
help our students divert from violence. Our children are the future and we must steer
them to the right path. Considering how efficient your office has been with handling
issues amongst the district, I am confident that your office will be reviewing the issue. I
suggest creating multiple after school programs and sports activities that will help the
students not only stay off the streets but it can also help them channel their anger or
issues into something more positive. This will help both the students and you as you
will have gained control of the violence in the district and will no longer have to worry
about the high violence rate. The students will be in a safer environment and will have

If possible, I would enjoy helping you and your staff conduct this project. I have
multiple ideas for after school programs and also have connections with athletic
directors and teachers who are willing to work free of charge, that way your office will
be able to save on funding for these programs. I appreciate your time and
consideration into these programs and I am willing to help you and your staff as much
as possible.

First and foremost, good evening and thank you for taking the time out of your schedule
to read my letter. I appreciate your time spared. I am writing to you in concern about the
budget for our school systems, considering Trumps administration is in the process of
cutting millions from the Department of Education. Considering you were running against
President Trump, I am intrigued by what your stance may be on the matter as well as what
President Trump has openly stated that he is making budget cuts from the Department of
Education and is approximately cutting 16% from the budget, which equals to about $11
billion. Him along with his choice for U.S. Education Secretary, Betsy DeVos, both want to
shrink the federal role in education. He is planning to cut $15 million from child care
services for low-income parents and college students, $27 million in art programs, $12
million in programs for gifted students, and $12 million from the Special Olympics, just to
name a few. Curious, how will this be affecting the Texas school systems as Ive read in an
article recently that about 175 school districts in Texas will be missing out on millions of
dollars in school funding due to state lawmakers disagreeing on a school finance reform
bill. I have also read recently that the Texas Senate removed $1.8 billion in public
education cost and will in turn raise the property tax in order to cover the expenses. Do
you agree with this matter? If not what would you have done differently?
which is why I am writing to you to read your input on the budget cuts and what you feel is
the necessary action(s) for this reform. I cannot fathom the amount of billions being
stripped from education as many programs not only help children academically, but it also
creates a safe place where they can openly be themselves. I believe that you are a strong
supporter for education and I trust that you are taking matters into your hands and
handling them accordingly. Once again I am thankful for you taking the time out of your
