Task Card 2 (DIALOGUE)
In this part of the test, the examiner will ask the examinee about the questions given in two directions (Two-way discussion). 1. Governments allocate large amounts of money to sporting events such as the Olympics. Do you agree with this spending? 2. Can or should sport play a significant role in developing international relations? 3. Do you agree that advertisements for smoking and drinking alcohol should be banned? 4. What role does advertising play in your society? 5. Certain products can only be advertised in restricted time-slots on television. Is this sort of restriction necessary? 6. How might advertising change in the future? 7. Famous people often become role models for teenagers. How significant is this? 8. Should people lose the right to privacy just because they are famous? 9. What are the benefits of traveling by public transport? 10. Having too many cars on our roads causes air pollution. What are some of the other causes pollution?
